La Eskina Gastronomia Mexicana is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet, pleasant residential neighborhood, a destination that absolutely deserves to be found. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, bright, genuinely festive, and great. The service is awesome, great, super friendly, very good, very attentive, and wonderful, with incredible attention to personal care. The journey begins with a complimentary and delicious appetizer of warm, seasoned tortilla chips served alongside amazing, flavorful refried bean dip, a delightful and memorable upgrade.
The food is truly exceptional, authentic, high-quality, well-made, reasonably priced, and amazingly good. Standout items include the birria ramen, carnitas tacos, asada tacos, chorizo tacos, street tacos, and tamale, all of which are delicious, amazing, and some of the best tasting. The special of the day is always really good. Meals are served with perfect house margaritas, good rice, and sides like shredded lettuce, lime, and both mild and spicy sauces. For dessert, the churros stuffed with chocolate come with caramel and chocolate sauces. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the entire state, a place to seek out and return to regularly, always leaving happy.
