Location is convenient if you are also shopping in the area~ it's nice to take a stroll after a meal too~ clean, with beautiful lighting with big windows. For the catch of the day, it comes with two sides, but if you do the catch of the day, and select the bowl option, it doesn't include sides AND charges you +$6. The waitress was attentive and accommodating, and had such a kind and funny personality joking it was "high way robbery" when she reminded us that the howl option was +$6 with no sides offered, giving us a good laugh. She suggested to order the catch of the day, with 2 sides that it already comes with and do a separate order of quinoa salad to share. With this option, we can combine the quinoa and our fish order, and make our own bowl without the +$6 charge along with enjoying our two included sides. Great suggestion because I enjoyed all my sides, catch of the day fish, and quinoa salad which were items I was really craving. She offered good solutions for us and was Super kind and helpful. Waitress made my visit pleasant and I felt listened too.

I visit for lunch several times a month and the restaurant always has great food and service. The consistency of chowder is not always thick but overall creamy, has great stock, and a good amount of clams. The French fries is amazing and always come out hot. The fish and chips is alright, the batter is very very thin and lacks flavor. Make sure to get extra tartar if you get the fish and chips. The shrimp entree is delicious with good size juicy shrimp. The restaurant bathroom is always clean and private with seagull music chirping in the back making you feel like you are strolling on the ocean. The location is great right in Garden City where you can enjoy your meal and go shopping after. If sitting at the bar make sure to say hi to Paul, he is attentive and efficient. There is always a cute black French bull dog named Addy there on the weekends!

The scallops were small but cooked to perfection. I did not care for the kale and vegetable medley that our server said came with it. I would have been happier with a potato and asparagus, which I was prepared to get. Sides are a la carte.The wine was tasty. We did not stay for dessert.I think the atmosphere was okay.The menu items are overpriced for what we got.

I was disappointed last night with my meal, I ordered a cup of clam chowder, and it seems to be watered down and a piece of plastic was in it. I did order the fish tacos, blackened that portion of the meal was pretty tasty, I do wish it had a little more fish than cabbage. The server was delightful, and did her job to perfection.

This place is my fav legal seafood! And yes not all legal seafoods taste the same! Their seafood is fresh and their fish and chips come piping hot and crispy!! I absolutely love their rainbow trout w side of street corn and green beans which is my go to! And their bread and butter is just so warm and heavenly! Great for kids since this place is spacious w parking! Highly recommend if you're shopping in the neighborhood and want to get some fresh seafood!

I dined here with my 91 year old mom for the Leap Day lobster special. Given the crowd, this was clearly a very popular event, but the vibe was energetic and upbeat without being annoyingly loud. Couples, groups of friends and families with their kids, all seemed to be having a great evening. Jaelin was our server and did a fabulous job throughout the evening. She was friendly and professional and never got rattled in spite of the fact she was waiting on multiple tables simultaneously. I observed that she was patient with all customers; answering questions and making recommendations, all with a high degree of efficiency. The lobsters were delicious; a nice mid winter treat at a very good value. We ordered a side of fries and an excellent wedge salad to share. A couple of cocktails and we headed for home very satisfied. Thanks to all of the staff who were really focused on service excellence!

Ok so I got the stuffies ...it was supposed to have two...we got one and a half.. that was the best of what we had. Ordered the linguine with clam sauce...very sandy not rinsed properly... And last but not least we ordered the octopus... which was disgusting. Not sure how old it was but it definitely wasn't fresh... The name of the restaurant is legal Sea foods now I know why it's not called fresh seafood..or maybe illegal seafood

The prices are getting too high. A lobster roll over $40 is ridiculous. Prices are getting high like a special occasion restaurant, but I don't feel like the atmosphere, service and food rate special occasion place.

I love the ambience and the food in Cranston! I will definitely come back. It’s kinda pricey but worth it i guess. Go there when there’s special occasion. They have oyster promo $2 daily from 2-5pm.
