Food tastes ok, but really greasy and small portion of fish for the price. Clam cakes need more clams.
I left with takeout fried clams and fries everything was way over cooked it wasn't worth going back, I just won't go

Skip if you out of the area, there are many other establishments where the food quality is much better. Perfect for.locals as it's the neighborhood. Was looking for that fish and chip experience, read the reviews and since I was close to it, we tried it out. The fried fish was soft, chip was ok. No salt, which I liked. The shrimp was ok, per my friend. Yeah, it's an old joint, and can see why local love it. Was not for us.
Being a native from Cape cod I was reluctant to move to Rhode Island because this meant losing one of my favorite fish and chips places. Then I found Stadium Fish and Chips and all is right with the world!Firstly I was greeted with a familiar smile. Secondly, I had ordered fish and chips....the fish was fresh and crispy ....the fries were delicious! The price is very reasonable. For the first time since I moved here I actually felt something close to home, thanks.
I have been eating here for over 50 years. Gary and Monique do a great job. Restaurant is immaculate and food is excellent
Soggy fries.. And fish is just battered... No seasoning at all.. But nice customer service..
I picked up fish and chips at 2:30 pm... The place was empty when I got there. There was 6 pieces of fish already cooked and sitting on top of the fryer unit... just waiting. Not a good indicator but I didn't leave... although I should have. As soon as my fries were done, the lady grabbed a couple of those precooked fish pieces and packed them into my order. 20 minute ride home later and that same fish is cold as can be and the coating (now soggy) just fell right off it... disappointing! I will tell you the fries were still quite warm but not a crunch to be found. The search for good Fish and Chips continues!
