“Stopped by last night for drinks with with Jessica Guarneri and wow, what a great spot. Good food, drinks were amazing, service was top-notch, and the vibe was very cool and upscale. “Melissa was our waitress and we got to meet the owner! Just a lovely crew and a fun atmosphere!! Look how beautiful this charcuterie board is!! “One of the coolest bars in the state - and definitely in Pawtuxet Village. A hipster sea captain hang out with great cocktails and some of the chillest vibes around. Piña coladas in the summer are the best, but good beers and cocktails year-round.. and just a short stroll to the bay means there's often a salty breeze to round it the legit nautical feel.
The decor is a more upscale version of Capn Seaweeds (no shade on them - think quirky mad mariner vibe) and still feels cozy. Unlike her sister bar, The Avery, which is blessedly TV-free (which I LOVE!), this place has one TV - but it's actually fairly unobtrusive and pretty fun (they often screen funny nautical things like Boat Zone).“

“Food is great. Full disclosure. My band plays there regularly. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we order ribs and burgers there when we want take-out. They definitely earned their awards and we get exactly what is expected on an order.“

“Terrific venue from stage to players to audience and bar in East Greenwich. Historically neat place to play. I played the Tuesday mic in August and will return as my schedule permits. If you are in Rhode Island, check out the Updike. And be sure to have breakfast the next morning at Jigger's Diner, opposite.“
