Davenport's Bar and Grille

We visited for an early dinner. Our waiter Jake was outstanding! After a wonderful meal, my husband paid the bill & we were getting ready to leave when the manager came to our table to ask what was wrong & if we were unhappy w/our server.....'No he was fantastic' we said. Oh! he said, because we didn't leave a tip he thought the waiter had messed up.... suffice it to say.... husband had THOUGHT he left the tip when he paid. Apparently he didn't!!! Talk about being embarrassed!! We gave Jake a little extra in his tip. So, next time you're at Davenports, East Prov. ask for Jake... he's awesome & goes beyond his waitstaff duties.

We tried the fall menu and we loved the arugula pizza and the turkey croissant. Our server, Nathan, was friendly, efficient, and attentive. We aways enjoy our time at Davenport's!

Four of us enjoyed lunch at the East Providence Davenport's. The menu selection was very good, food very tasty, service very good and a manager stopped by to see how we were doing. Devenport's is our go-to place when we're in that part of town.

The food and service were great as usual. It was definitely too warm in the back room where we were seated; seemed the air conditioning wasn't as effective as it should have been. Also a couple of large groups were quite noisy and made it difficult to hear at times. Of course I'll always go back to Davenport's; it's been a favorite for years!

Good place to eat if you want to be stared at by the creeps for stuff while you eat your entire meal.

The food was delicious, the service from Tiffany was wonderful, kind, smiling, she went out of her way to make me feel good, even though I don't speak English well, she explained it to me in the best way possible, making herself understood, she made me feel at home, thank you

Davenports is a perfect restaurant for everyone. They have a complete menu selection and the meals are prepared consistently well. Our server Sage was excellent and very knowledgeable. Using Open Table we have never had to wait. Davenports is one of our favorite restaurants. Joe

It is always a great experience to dine at Davenport's. Come weekly with my mom. Food is great, service is great. Love Dawn!!!

Stopped in for a late snack and had a great waitress who explained that the seafood chowder had imitation crab and offered a mini sauce cup as a taster (great idea). She also detailed the items we were asking about and checked in on us throughout. The RB sandwich with au jus was really good and the sampler plate offered a nice variety of appetizers.

The seafood chowder, spicy calamari, and the dessert are amazing. One of my favorite restaurants in Rhode Island.

Have never had a bad meal here!!
