The honey butter chicken sandwich is fabulous!Parking: We parked on the main road and others in our party parked on the sude street. I imagine that this is a nightmare for the residents. There was a small lot with few spaces but was full. I suspect that it was employee parking.
The Local is a very unassuming place. We stopped in on a Saturday early afternoon. The bartender/server was very friendly and quick. I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings and my wife a breaded chicken breast pannini with fries. It was the BEST burger I've had outside of my own on the grill! It was cooked medium seared with crispness and had a bacon jam and onion ring on it. Wow! If it wasn't for the bridge closure from East Providence to I 95 South we would be there again...read full review

I had an amazing experience at The Local! This cozy local bar offers a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and an exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. There are plenty of high top tables and it is a great place to watch a game. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great time. The added bonus of a cool golf simulator adds a unique touch to the overall experience. Can't wait to visit again!
