I had an amazing experience at The Local! This cozy local bar offers a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and an exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. There are plenty of high top tables and it is a great place to watch a game. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great time. The added bonus of a cool golf simulator adds a unique touch to the overall experience. Can't wait to visit again!

The honey butter chicken sandwich is fabulous!Parking: We parked on the main road and others in our party parked on the sude street. I imagine that this is a nightmare for the residents. There was a small lot with few spaces but was full. I suspect that it was employee parking.

The Local is a very unassuming place. We stopped in on a Saturday early afternoon. The bartender/server was very friendly and quick. I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings and my wife a breaded chicken breast pannini with fries. It was the BEST burger I've had outside of my own on the grill! It was cooked medium seared with crispness and had a bacon jam and onion ring on it. Wow! If it wasn't for the bridge closure from East Providence to I 95 South we would be there again this Saturday! We will be heading back as soon as the bridge situation has been repaired!!! A++

I went to pick up lunch from The Local when I was on my lunch break from work. If it was after work, I would have wanted to eat there. The ambiance is relaxing but also pretty neat with the sports vibes. It would definitely be a cool place to hangout with friends and watch a game while eating lunch. I ordered the Honey Butter Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was amazing! It was a large sandwich that was crispy and flavorful. I am not a huge fan of French fries but theirs were very good. It was not a low calorie meal by any means but in terms of comfort food, I wish I could eat their Honey Butter Fried Chicken Sandwich regularly. Writing about it just makes me want to go over there now and order one. I highly suggest people swinging by to enjoy the great food and ambiance with friends. I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Can't really give it a rating. Sat down waited a minute to be acknowledged and given a menu . Then 10 minutes go by without anyone else acknowledging me . So I walked out .Also, way too loud in there .

Great sports bar with many screens so you can easily see your game from any seat. They had plenty of seats at the bar, high top tables, standard tables, and an outdoor space with even more tvs! We arrived at the end of a live music set, which was good but very loud for how small the space is. Overall, loud is definitely one of the main descriptors I would use for The Local. We had to nearly shout at each other from across the table. The other descriptors I would use are well priced and delicious. They have tons of great specials - we got the 50 cent wings since it was after 7pm, and they were so tender and well flavored. I also got a Rodeo burger, which was very tasty and still tasted good leftover. They have a diversity of seasonal drinks that are cheaper than expected but the size of the drink sort of evens out the price. Overall, definitely will be back for watching some sports and eating delicious wings.

Great place to watch the game! My boyfriend and I also went for music Bingo one night and had a a lot of fun. We won a gift card! Food was decent too and all the waitstaff I've had when there have been super friendly.
