KhaoSan Thai Street Food

Recently I noticed the protein has been small portions. Example- we ordered 3 shrimp lunch specials. All had 5 average sized shrimp. I felt for $15 dishes there should be more shrimp or at least larger shrimp. I looked online, and for $15 thai dishes , there should be atleast 8-10 shrimp or more. Quality and taste is great, but protein is too little. (They only offer rice with lunch specials). The week before we ordered chicken curry dinner dishes and it was mostly bamboo shoots. Not enough value for me to continue to give them my business. It's unfortunate because I like their food but they need to increase the protein for what they charge, or charge a bit less. I called and she said they have always given only 5 shrimp. That's there policy, and their choice, but most restaurants give much more protein than they do, and I will go to those restaurants from now on.

I love this Thai restaurant. Clearly labeled vegan options and super friendly staff. Restaurant is clean and the photos on the wall are very interesting. My go-to for Thai food in the area.

Food was great. The downside was the serving size was very little. I ordered to go and didn’t realize the portion til I got home. I ordered fresh rolls and asked for sauce and there wasn’t even enough for one roll. My daughter ate half a roll. I wasn’t even full off of the noodles I purchased for myself. What a way to charge a full plate and not get even half the portion. I was so upset about that.

I've never had a bad experience with this place. The food is absolutely amazing. The staff is always nice. Brings back good memories of date nights with my partner. The food is so delicious and flavorful. 100% recommend to everyone.

Very good thai.

My appetizer included in the lunch was a crisp, delicious summer roll, the peanut sauce accented the flavor.
Had green curry veggies with sticky rice. All veggies were cooked properly. Mixture of eggplant, bamboo shoots, green beans, multi colored peppers and squash. No rock hard broccoli. The sticky rice was perfectly cooked and soaked up the green curry sauce. The best I’ve have in a long time. Why isn’t this place packed ???

Really great Thai food! They have a wide range of dishes, some more authentic than I usually see. I got the fresh rolls and mango curry, it was delicious. Definitely will be back again!

Outrageously delicious. So good. Fried chicken is perfect. Good prices too.
