Wow. One of the best burgers I’ve had. The island burger (pineapple) was amazing. The burger is seasoned perfectly and deliciously with a bit of kick. The patty itself is thick, I asked for medium rare and it was perfectly medium rare and juicy, even after being wrapped up for 30 min. The pineapple was amazingly juicy and seasoned well with the burger. Flavors on point. A filling burger that I didn’t want to end (after a long day of biking). Would get again!
Sweet potato fries were good but a little soggy. Definitely need to crisp it up in the air fryer again. But fluffy and tasty. Great chipotle aioli sauce. Lively, amazing, friendly employees! They’re a vibe in the kitchen! Unfortunately, no bathroom.

Randomly came here on a Wednesday afternoon. Somehow this was place was empty, and served some of the better Cajun food I’ve had in recent memory.
I bought the (small) jerk leg from the hot bar & sticky nachos. I was already full after the jerk leg, but stuffed down the nachos too.
Good luck finding Cajun/Portuguese food of this quality for this price. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Food: The regular menu here is always outstanding, but I noticed they post daily specials on Facebook, so a couple weeks ago decided to try the daily Curry Goat special. It was my first time ever having goat, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The Cabo Verde flavors were incredibly rich, balanced, and cooked to perfection. Definitely one of the best specials I’ve had so far.
Seating: it’s mainly a takeout spot but they do have a couple booths inside to sit down and eat if you’d like.
Service: family owned, friendly and the young man who works up front at register has the manners of a saint.

My daughter and I are from out of town. We googled and took a chance and the food was delicious. It seems more of a take out place but the food more then made up for the lack of atmosphere.
Food is a1. Jerk chicken beans n rice chef's kiss. Jawaan and Mike told me about this place and boy they do not disappoint. Mike n my mom love the mozambique. Keep up the consistent food quality, cleanliness and care into every service and you will continue to be a staple in Rhode Island. Godspeed
