First instance: original review Lady who worked (larger) on Wednesday, was kind. She was really sweet
NEXT INSTANCE: was fine bagel had too little cream cheese for3$. Disappointed-1 star
NEXT INSTANCE: went this week and there was a man working who was rude and unkind to the customers. I couldn’t even ask for a bagel without an attitude. Hoping this can be improved for my next monthly visit(treat) -2 star.
Oh and to add- This restaurant was selected for Revise Restaurant Week. You may see an influx’ in customer reviews..

Man working today at 11:00 am, EST, the man working was awfully rude and had so much disrespect. he said hold up a few minutes while i was ordering because he was busy. The lady working was very kind but a bit loud. Will not return until changes are made. Food was made subpar, man was also making it too. barely any cream cheese, coffee was fine i guess very very disappointed as it is on my college campus

I went to the Providence Bagel at URI on Wednesday, November 19th at 1:30pm to get the Classic Lox sandwich. I was so excited because it’s one of my favorites and I don’t get it often, but I found THREE long dark hairs in the sandwich when I was eating. Really gross and disappointing. I ended up throwing it away.

Breakfast sandwiches are $8+ for one of the worst ones I’ve ever had. Bagel was basically untoasted, bacon undercooked, not a fresh egg. Definitely not worth the price. Plenty of other places nearby that have way better quality breakfast sandwiches, will not be back.

Rudest worker I have ever encountered. I ordered an iced mocha latte and when I asked for more chocolate, the worker gave me a dirty look and silently fixed the drink by adding a splash more chocolate. Then, I ordered a chai latte with almond milk and the barista made it with 2%. When I politely asked for almond, she was incredibly rude to me. The chai was watery and barely had any flavor. Some of the worst costumer experience I have ever had- never coming back here again. Picture for reference- chai on the left, mocha on the right.

Extremely slow and inept service.
Despite the delicious food, this place has unfortunately become an absolute no-go. First of all, the prices are exorbitant for what you get, and are always magically a few dollars higher than what you order. For instance, how does a specialty bagel priced at 8 dollars and a medium iced coffee priced at 4 dollars come to 16.50? Best case scenario is negligence, and that the prices have somehow risen 50% since they last decided to update their menu, which already was expensive to begin with.
The experiences with the service have always been positive besides with the manager. Multiple times she has interrupted the cashier who is taking my order and said they can't make something which I saw other people just get, or that they had every time the manager was not there. In addition, there has been multiple times where the manager has openly berated her employees right in front of me, even when I'm going to the counter to get my order. If it's uncomfortable for me, I can't imagine how the employee feels being yelled at over what seems to be very insignificant stuff. Lastly, this place needs a deep clean very badly.
A real shame, because the food is delicious. But not worth the $10 dollar bagels and the baffling service attitude.

On Saturday, April 5th, I visited the establishment located adjacent to the URI campus for my initial experience. While my coffee was satisfactory, I was deeply troubled by the manager’s treatment of a new employee. The manager openly berated the employee, making her feel inadequate as she posed questions. This behavior not only embarrassed the young individual but also drew the attention of the long line as it was a busy morning. I regretted not intervening with the manager, as her conduct was unacceptable towards a clearly new and apprehensive employee. This incident has significantly tainted my experience, and I will not be returning to the establishment due to the distressing behavior of the manager.
Great sandwiches, really great bagels and a damn fine cup of coffee. Would certainly recommend, staff was friendly and service on point! Will definitely be back!
Over the summer I went here frequency and the bagels truly made my day. As a student at URI I go on the weekends so it’s something I can look forward to. The workers are fast and friendly, great food and beverage options, and a nice store inside!
I absolutely love this place so much. As a music major, I need a lot of caffeine to go through my long days, and the RazzBulls are just the right amount of caffeine with even more deliciousness. I also love how they cut the bagels in half, that way I can eat one half and save the other half for later. Highly recommend
The food and coffee are super good and the staff is always so friendly!
