The hamachi kama is great, limited supply. Beef negimaki is delicious as is the Gyoza. Staff is very friendly and charming. Will do the hibachi again soon. Try the yellow tail and tuna hand rolls. I have eating sushi all over the world for 40 years. I have enjoyed each visit.
Mizu Japanese Steak House in Middletown is a fun lively spot that works really well for groups and celebrations. The hibachi experience is entertaining with plenty of fire tricks jokes and action at the grill which keeps everyone engaged from start to finish.
The food itself is good and hits all the classic hibachi expectations. Portions are generous and everything comes out hot and satisfying which is exactly what you want in this type of setting.
