What a lovely place. We stopped for lunch while visiting Newport and were delighted by the many options available. In the end we took advantage of the breakfast all day. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Large portions and affordable. Recommend for families.
Ordered a Turkey Club and was seated for a half hour before the waiter came over and said "Oh we just ran out of Turkey" and could of cared less.
Service was slow and not good .
Excellent breakfast. Friendly great service

Annie's is a classic American diner that offers a comfortable and genuine dining experience. The service is attentive, and the fresh, house-made food is affordable and delicious. From their roasted, sliced, and baked ingredients to their gourmet Downeast coffee, the quality and value are unbeatable. Whether you're visiting the nearby International Tennis Hall of Fame or just looking for a great breakfast, Annie's is a must-try destination that won't disappoint.
The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Guests often enjoy soups like chowder and French onion, as well as hearty portions of half sandwiches. Breakfast options such as the mushroom omelet, pancakes, eggs & bacon, and Croissant are highly recommended, with pancakes being a favorite. The chef, Louisa, is praised for their attentive service, making each visit pleasant.
According to recent reviews, Annie's is a gem with a sense of heritage and pride. The hot, fresh croissants are described as "absolute heaven," and the fresh-squeezed juice, egg white Greek omelette, and coffee are all praised for their quality and flavor. The fried ice cream is also a popular dessert. However, one customer had an unpleasant experience with a waitress adding items to the bill that were not ordered, which ruined the overall impression of the place.
