We had difficulty parking since there is only on street parking and no lot. We had to park in a $10/ hr lot. We were seated upstairs and it was pretty noisy. We ordered drinks which were fine and meatball appetizer. About 10 min after ordering our meals came and they forgot the appetizer. Although we sat at a table, the bar tender was waiting on us and the bar was full so he couldn't pay much attention to us. Why they would have the bartender wait on tables when there were servers is beyond me. I had the pork chop which was good and my wife had the bolognese which was not very tasty. We also had the foccaccia which was very tasty. We decided to skip dessert. All in all it was a mediocre meal and we will not go back .
Wonderful time at your restaurant. We were with a big party and you were more than accommodating! Our server Sailor was the best!! Great time, great service!
Food and wait staff were both 10/10! We came with our toddlers and babies and everyone was so kind and accommodating! There was food on the menu for adults and kids - everything was delicious !
Ask for upstairs seating for a more quiet meal. Small plates were great. Monk fish main cooked perfectly.
This is just the nicest spot on the Thames Bricks! All the right stuff on the menu, from gorgeous cheese boards to a million sides and local fish, all to mix and match. The service is spectacular and there are distinct spaces to match your mood. The Caesar salad is always perfect and I wanted the Black Sea Bass catch of the day twice. It just never gets old. Our compliments!
The interior spaces are really pretty, our server Sarah was wicked sweet and gave us amazing recommendations, while being really friendly and efficient. On top of all that the cheese selection aren't generic and are all special and delicious, the risotto with honey and mushrooms was one of the more interesting apps I've had this year, and the agnolotti special was awesome.
They treat you very well like you're part of the family

Our first time and not sure if I will return. Disappointed that we were in a loud room when nothing was offered. The food was just okay. Cheap French fries with a steak is a rip off, and my entree was just so so.
We are always looking for off season restaurants to visit but others will be before this.
Our servers were great but not enough to make me return.

Fantastic meal! Six of us dined here in late September, 2024. First of all, our server, Sophia, was phenomenal – – we wanted a charcuterie board and went with all of her recommendations, delicious! A true test for me is when you ask your server to bring a wine that will go nicely with your meal. And she nailed it! Our table got Bolognese, monkfish, short rib, the lobster and pasta special, and the crispy chicken pasta dish — everyone loved what they got! Can't wait to go back!
We had Monkfish and short ribs. Short ribs had a lot of gristle and monkfish was overcooked and not flaky. The ragout accompanying the monkfish was tasty. we had white chocolate tiramisu for dessert that was delicious. The server, Ryan, was excellent.
Honestly, wish I didn't feel the need to write this review, as I was hoping for it to be positive. A few years back when they first opened we went with a larger group the experience was great... so was excited to revisit. Was seated in the beautiful porch area. Husband and I were immediately offered water, regular or bottled. Seemed like we were off to a good start. Then...we noticed that the hostess stand was staffed by very young, unprofessional women. They were consistently giggling, horsing around and literally doing "yoga" stretches... it appeared the manager was 'in on this' and did not care as she was standing around doing nothing during this time. Very distracting. The waitress, who was nice enough, didn't pay attention during our drink orders... husband ordered a martini, with a lemon twist. After a fairly long wait... The drink came back as a martini with olives. When he mentioned his order, she apologized and literally said, i guess I wasn't paying attention. Then she comes back with the correct order, very very quickly. I said to her "oh that was quick!" Did the bartender make it fresh or did he just throw in a lemon garnish? She did not know (what?) Ok so back the third time... and finally the drink appeared to be ok. The entrees themselves were ok... not bad, not great. Then we wanted coffees... we asked if they had espresso... she said not tonight as the machine was broken. Ok, so we were perusing the dessert menu... she then returned and I said ok, so we'll have dessert, and I'll just have a decaf coffee. She then said we don't have coffee. (Again, what?) I was confused and said you don't have coffee AT ALL? And she said, no, sadly, the machine has been broken for 2 weeks. Now.... WHAT restaurant leaves a coffee machine out of service for two weeks? My thought? One that doesn't care if people return. That being said.... we will not be returning.
Avoid the steak - it was shoe leather like and while cooked correctly it was a terrible piece of meat. Fries were undercooked, chicken was overcooked. Overall it was just not a good meal. Good location, friendly but mostly absent waitress.
The food is terrible—fish and chicken deep fry, probably in the same oil.
