The best noodle bowl restaurant in R.I. according to my “expert” opinion ? Not fancy but low key, & delicious with plenty to take home! Waitress “Ireland” was very busy up front but made sure to check in on us! Definitely worth the visit if you are ever in Newport,R.I.

Brunch on Sundays is amazing. What unique combinations of traditional brunch infused with Boru's Asian cuisine. I had the Sweet Potato Arugula Benedict and it was absolutely amazing. My husband had the chicken fennel sausage frittata with poached eggs added. Cooked to perfection.

I’ve eaten Ramen at Yagi Noodles in Newport, RI and Tori Tomo in Providence. Both these places make very good ramen and the bowls are flavorful and broth is delicious. The broth here tastes like it came out of a supermarket packet.I ordered the Black Garlic soup sent it back and then ordered the house soup. Both soups were not flavorful but tasted salty. It’s just not quality ramen soup. Its awful.

We were hungry and decided to go to our favorite spot for noodles and as luck would have it they were trying out a brunch menu for the first time. My boyfriend stuck with his usual spicy miso ramen bowl (sorry no pic) I decided to try the brunch menu. I chose the chicken fennel sausage omelette with goat cheese, caramelized onions and roasted apple and it was phenomenal!!!!! It came with togarashi tots and fresh fruit. What a delicious surprise!!!And as always the customer service is as exceptional as the food. This is one of the BEST places to eat and enjoy a vibe in Newport

The food was delicious so much flavor the service was great and the restaurant was in a very convenient location to shops in the area. The menu provided something for everyone in my party including the vegetarians in the group.

Visiting Newport, Rhode Island with friends we ended up at this Ramen noodle bar. We came here, because two of us are vegetarian. When we entered the restaurant, it seemed very small. There's a counter and some tables and the preparation of the food has a small open kitchen. However, if you walk down the long hallway, there's a bar and more tables. I ordered the mushroom sweet potato buns and they were delicious. I've never had buns before because I've never seen a vegetarian option. I don't know where the mushrooms were. They might be in the little sweet potato patty. But it had lots of flavor and spiciness. I also had the coconut curry Ramen. It wasn't sure about this, but it was very delicious. My friend had this as well and she liked it. My other friend had the pork buns and the spicy miso Ramen. She liked both of those a lot. We were all very happy with our mealand I would recommend trying it out. The bartender wasn't there when we went so they couldn't make the drink specials. However, there is a cute little bar in the back. Counter.

Cute ramen and small bites spot downtown area. Limited seating inside and parking can be scarce. Ramen was good but I want to praise the pork buns more than the ramen. No picture because I gobbled em right up! 2 per serving but I would've at 6! The waitress wasn't very friendly from beginning to end.

The food at this unpretentious noodle bar is very good. The ramen were extremely tasty using a soy based broth and the poké was a great combination of spicy tuna, avocado, sushi rice, pickled daikon radish and cucumber. Have I forgotten something? It was all made better by sitting outdoors on a perfect fall day. The interior was not especially inviting.

I ate here last year and ordered the spicy seafood ramen, top 5 ramen l've had. My husband and I were visiting again and decided to eat lunch here. The spicy seafood isn't on the menu anymore, sad day. We decided to get the pork belly buns for an appetizer with the spicy chicken miso ramen and lobster and corn ramen. The highlight was the pork buns. So delicious, I wish I didn't have to share lol. Their ramen has fell off the top 5 list for me though. The spicy chicken miso was ground chicken- which is fine I just prefer chicken thighs or breast sliced. The spices were great in it though- not too much or too little. Good amount of toppings! I would order that one again over the lobster and corn. The lobster and corn was least 5 enjoyable honestly. The amount of lobster was alright but the broth didn't have a flavor, pretty bland in my opinion. I consider ramen to be more of a comfort food and I feel like this was a take on more of a light, refreshing ramen fusion, if that makes sense? I was not a fan. The server was pleasant. They blasted rap unedited the whole time, kind of annoying. Restaurant was clean, more seating than before, which was nice. Pretty meh overall

great buns. kimchi was delish but not a lot of cabbage in the pickle. pork buns were not served with a plate so i just ate them off a napkin. service was great but she kind of half hazardly put my dish on the table and a couple of toppings flew off. ambiance was great! super loud kids next to us though

Delicious food, friendly and accommodating staff. We love to dine in when we can, it’s small space but fun atmosphere. We got take out this time and it didn’t disappoint. Love this place and will absolutely go back! Parking is the only downside to this wonderful little gem!
