Very overpriced for coffee.
It was a freezing day in Newport and we stopped in hoping for a hot coffee. We wanted to support a local spot, but honestly wish we had just walked the extra half mile to Starbucks—at least there you actually get espresso in a latte. I hesitated to write this after seeing how many negative reviews there already were, but felt compelled to add another. The prices are an absolute crime. Our lattes tasted like watered-down coffee grounds with barely any coffee flavor at all. And the cost—$24 for two medium lattes! My mom and I couldn’t help but laugh while drinking coffee that wouldn’t even pass at a basic diner. A plain bagel for $10? A danish for $9? A single cookie for $8? These prices feel less like quality and more like we’re paying someone’s rent. Really wish we had read the reviews before coming.

If I could leave this a lower rating, I would. It's just terrible. The coffee tastes exactly like a Keurig and costs $9 for a normal sized coffee. It's freezing cold in the winter as well. I wish I had spent my $20 bucks doing anything else.
Go around the corner to Kaffeology. Everything is better and you won't feel like you were robbed for a sub-par drip coffee.

The coffee at this coffee shop is AWFUL and ridiculously expensive. Luke warm and so weak. I paid $19 for two medium black coffees that were terrible. I was astounded. The woman who runs the place is very friendly, but certainly not worth a trip. Kaffe ology around the corner is reasonably priced and a hundred times better...

Rip off. Ordered a gingerbread coffee. Coffee was Luke warm, diluted, no taste. $10.30. I told the owner told me to go to Starbucks. She was very rude. 8.00 for a small hot chocolate. Again Luke warm. Will never ever go back!!
Stay away from this place! $22 for two watered-down drinks feels criminal. Charging EXTRA for steamed milk?! We will not be returning. The owner is very personable, but please save your money. I feel taken advantage of.
This place is unreasonably overpriced.
Check prices before ordering.
Bagel tasted like rubber. (They charge a dollar for toasting...lol)

It was the most expensive coffee I've ever bought. The cookie was hard as a rock. I feel badly because the owner was so sweet.

Worst coffee shop I’ve ever experienced!! Cappuccino and espresso were ridiculously overpriced and tasted like water. The woman is rude and upcharges for everything!! Absolutely disgusting! She should honestly be ashamed of herself!!

absolute worst cappuccino and espresso I’ve ever had!!! $15.94 for a single shot of espresso and a small gingerbread cappuccino with whole milk. Absolutely disgusting and super rude when questioned!!
I love this place, original location and newer (not so new). Alyssa rocks, such great energy!
It’s a bit pricey and it seems weird folks give low star reviews because of price points. Everything is fresh homemade and it’s a PRIME (i.e. $$) location.
I support local small biz, happy it’s not another chain.
So please quit yer complaining on costs, and support a nice person with a small biz! Geez…

Terrible coffee for an enormous price. One of the few times I'd recommend walking 5 mins to Starbucks. We paid $83 for three coffees, three pastries, and a water. Not even the Ritziest cafe in midtown Manhattan would charge that much. Just an awful place.

7 dollars for a small cappuccino that is super weak and 4.5 for a water. The owner is fine but the place is a rip off.
