People are always friendly and the coffee hot. Never had anything that wasn’t delicious. I do miss a couple of items no longer on the menu but change is inevitable.

I debated whether or not to write this but I feel responsible to letting the Google community know that this place is not the gem it used to be. Service was slow despite there being a ton of people working. The kitchen couldn’t handle even half of the restaurant capacity as they made us wait outside for 45min with several tables empty. Then the food came, just meh. Undercooked home fries, hollandaise that was thick, not smooth. They need to bring someone in who knows what they’re doing otherwise the legendary Franklin Spa will soon be a distant memory.

Ate here last week with friends and always a fantastic breakfast and fun experience. Thank you to our server, Mia, who was outstanding. And it was her birthday!! The 4 of us had the blueberry stuffed French toast (2die4) 2egg b’fast, eggs & homemade hash browns and I had the scram-bowl with tomatoes ham & spinach (also 2die4). Mine was amazing, eggs-cellent actually! We love this place, been coming for years, always a pleasure. Mia, hope you had an awesome rest of your birthday and thank you again for a fun attitude and big smile!

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast here!! The food was amazing and the staff was so friendly and accommodating! There was a short wait to get seated and it was absolutely worth it! We live in SC but will visit this delightful restaurant next time we are in Rhode Island again!!

Great place for breakfast. No nonsense breakfast spot. Fantastic service. We are in Newport for a week and eat breakfast here every morning. The staff is very accommodating and aims to please. Good food at at a good price. The best coffee anywhere.

Food is basic breakfast food, nothing special. The owner of the business was very rude to me. I only was trying to say that I liked his restaurant. He could not be bothered. I will never return for Dennys quality food and having to wait a long time.
