The atmosphere is lovely. Still on the hunt for the best coffee in downtown. My vanilla latte tasted like milk—you could barely taste the espresso and I think they forgot the vanilla.

Good coffee; good value.
Small yet functional seating area is entirely adequate.

Just an amazing cafe! It's in a great location on Thames street, the service is warm and friendly , and they have perfect coffee drinks and delicious bagels and pastries. What more could you want?
I particularly like their cortados. Their salmon bagel doesn't come with cream cheese, but the dressing that's on it is delicious and perfect.
Definitely check it out if you're in the area!

Just a service issue for me. Ordered a coffee, barista asked if I’d like any milk and casually ran through the options, decided on oat milk. I was charged an extra dollar for it without any heads up. When I asked about the total price of the coffee, she let me know it’s because I got an alternative milk, I said ah that would’ve been great to know prior to ordering, and I got a shoulder shrug “sorry”. Pretty lousy way to operate

We went here in the hope of getting some milkshake as all the reviews were raving about it. What we found was a very cramped place and overpriced food which did not even taste well. For $14, we got a 5 inch burrito with steamed sweet potato and scrambled egg. We also got a latte and a limeade which tasted well, nothing out of the world. The croissant was okay albeit a little too salty for my taste. The seating and the table arrangement was inconvenient at best and hazardous at worst. There was a space for a child to go straight between the tables, everyone else could only move sideways, if at all. There was also a broken floor tile in the middle of the space which wasn't much to begin with. And there is absolutely no milkshake on the menu.

Incorrect hours on Google. Arrived and it was closed within posted hours.
Came in on a Friday afternoon, while in port on a cruise ship. The one young lady working the register and making the drinks was an absolute rock star. She kept her cool even with a store full of people.

The gentleman that helped us today made amazing recommendations for food and drinks, was super nice, turned down the music volume as we were working at the tables, and was just overall in a great mood. Thanks for making our visit to Newport special and possible!

Stopped by for a quick coffee and walked out with a room temp cup. Not sure if was just old and laying around or what but kind of odd at 11AM

I visited the Portsmouth location for the second time this morning and this is a perfect first date spot imo. The large wraparound deck is so cute & cozy, like a farmhouse porch. & the coffee 🤩 I had a tiramisu latte last time, a cherry Garcia latte this time- I was not disappointed either time, the flavors were accurate without being overwhelming or weakening the espresso, & oh so delicious. The food is even better; the attention to detail & balance of flavor in the dishes is off the charts. I recommend the avocado toast or whipped feta plate, and if you’re not into coffee, their teas and lemonades are just as amazing.
