Kilwin’s Chocolates and Ice cream

Very nice ice cream, a bit pricey, but worth it in the summer heat!

They don’t have the allergen (eg nuts) info on the label so make sure you ask about allergen before ordering flavors with the staff. We got island fudge which doesn’t list nuts at all in the Ingredients list on the label so good thing we asked before feeding to our toddler.

$9 for a small ice cream. Price gouging.

The customer service was horrible. Everyone in there was in an awful mood super rude. Wasn’t even busy it literally was the worst experience we go to Kilwins in Plymouth, MA and absolutely love it! We will not be coming back to this one!

Kilwins is a great candy/ice cream spot on Thames street in Newport. They have a large selection of all kinds of sweet treats. I would recommend getting the Carmel covered or chocolate covered marshmallows. They are made in the store and they are delicious!

Always an amazing experience. Every time I’d visit the city of Newport, I’d always stop by this Kilwin’s Ice Cream location and it never disappointed. There are a variety of flavors of ice cream, fudge, and candy apples for many customers to enjoy. The place is also extremely kid-friendly and some items are perfectly suitable for vegetarians! Staff are very friendly and a tall man who might be the owner, for I have no idea whether or not he is, but he is a very jolly and humorous person! I would highly recommend the Newport Mud flavor…. In shake form! 🍦🥤 rich, creamy, delightful, anything you’d want in an ice cream or shake! Delicious and will always come back.

The ice cream was bomb! Had a very good service too, the nice young man who helped me was not impatient despite me taking a while to decide ahah! A lot of choice of sweets and ice cream. Thank you! 🙌

I visited this ice cream shop and loved it. The ice cream has delicious flavors, and the scoop size is generous—much bigger than I expected! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy. I definitely recommend it and will return to try more flavors.

We enjoyed our Kid’s Hot Fudge Sundae in Newport. It was running sitting in the wall in Newport while we delighted in our tasty ice cream treat. Fun to have a favorite ice cream place in Newport.
