Cute little place... services was OK. Food on the other has was not very good. Lobster roll need more flavor and missing butter. Fish tacos... ugh, not good, frozen fish sticks. Clam chowder... seemed watered down, missing flavor and richness.Prices are 30% higher than others in the area. LR priced at $40 is a bit steep .There are much better places to eat.Sorry, I would not go back.

We had the lobster bisque, lobster roll, and fish tacos. Good experience. As we just returned from Ireland where we had chowders …. So, in contrast, the lobster bisque was thin. The lobster roll was quite good with full pieces of lobster filling the hot dog roll. Thoroughly enjoyed it.The meal king, however, was the fish tacos: the fish was moist and the pineapple-cilantro slaw with it was awesome. All good!

We had an early dinner and we had the restaurant to ourselves. I had the lobster roll and my husband had the oyster roll. They were both delicious and the fries, slaw, and pickles were delicious!

This felt like a hole in the wall with food / flavor combinations that were not good. I was concerned when I glanced at the menu online, but there were no places to make reservations for dinner on graduation weekend. I think we would have been happier if we had just ordered pizza and stayed in.

Saw the sign for best lobster roll. Decided to try it. It was $38 for the smallest lobster roll I've ever had. Truly felt like a joke. The roll was decent taste wise. I also ordered the lobster bisque and clam chowder. Both soups felt like the poured a cup of water into it before serving it into small bowls. It was $15 for the bisque that had 2 small pieces of lobster in it and was essentially butter flavored water. My kids ordered the chicken which felt like they just warmed up frozen chicken in the oven and threw it on a plate. The fries were easily the best part of the meal.

Wonderful service. I had the lobster bisque and fish tacos made into a bowl(not listed on the menu but a recommendation from my server). Everything tasted amazing.

Made a reservation through open table. Arrived with a party of 8 to celebrate with a group of friends and the restaurant was closed. Left us scrambling. Nothing on their website about being closed.

Was my first trip and I was blown away! Absolutely fresh and delicious food and we ordered A LOT! I even loved foods I normally don’t eat, they’re that good!! Fortunate enough to meet the owner and had “Emily” as our server who may just be the sweetest soul on earth! ??

Absolutely excellent! We had the lobster bisque, lobster roll, brisket bowl and fried chicken bowl. Every bite delicious! I have never had such an amazing lobster roll. Very generous portions. Incredible flavor. Such a fun cozy spot and wonderful people. Will come back again and again!

Excellent service, food is not as great as was expected. Pork belly was decent flavor wise, but mostly just fat. Fries were great. Fish tacos are ok. More of a breading than fried, I’d avoid it to be honest. Better fish tacos elsewhere. Definitely try it.

So good! We ordered the wings, fish tacos, and steak&cheese roll. All were wonderful. The wings had an incredibly unique flavor, and were SO crispy. The steak and cheese was delicious and I could’ve easily ate another. Even the little pickles they give on the side were delicious. The workers were also super nice! Would 100% return! Only downside is they don’t sell alcohol- but you are allowed to bring your own for a $10 cork fee

Excellent food and service!I love to find small gems like this when on vacation and Knot Norm’s fit the bill. I will admit I had no idea the lobster roll was $38 but I didn’t ask and it was a lot of perfectly cooked lobster. From a food perspective - a small menu of fresh items that have the right seasoning is a key to success. Everything was super tasty - including the slaw and pickles. From a service perspective - everyone was so nice and highly engaged in making sure we had everything we needed.Great experience, people and food!

Casual atmosphere. Menu is comprised of sandwiches with some apps and soups. Most options are decently priced and the ones we ordered were tasty. We tried the fish tacos and lobster bisque. Staff was very friendly.

The food was the star here. While it's the most expensive lobster roll I've ever eaten (anywhere) and I grew up in NYC it WAS delicious. That said, I don't think at the high price there should be a surcharge for fries instead of a bag of chips! Overhead here is very low considering everything was served as it would be at a roadside stand in Maine or in the “rough” Service was good.

Busy Summer Saturday early evening. Happy to be seated in their courtyard! Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was GREAT!!! Had the beet and apple salad, hot oil, garlic and cilantro wings, lobster roll and Copp Island oyster roll with the upgrade to fries. We would also have had a dozen oysters and a crab salad roll but they were out...like I said, busy summer Saturday! However, what we did eat was DELICIOUS. Those wings can't be beat and the rolls were killer. Will be there again and again. Can't wait till after the crowds die down. A reservation was the ticket. Definitely make one.
