Go somewhere else!!!
The kid working as rube and just dropped the food one by one on the table. The food is over rated!

Unassuming joint on the main strip. The lobster roll and clam chowder combo is the perfect midday pit stop for hungry locals and travelers to pop in. Be ready to swap life stories as you’ll be instantly greeted by the owner and chef, Muriel. Great food and great experience.

Delicious chowder and warm buttered lobster roll! They have a nice covered patio for seating but no bathrooms (there are public bathrooms across the street within Bowen's Wharf though!)

Chowder, pretzel, and cold lobster roll were perfect!

The lobster roll was delicious. But service was questionable- the tall guy was insipid, upon entering we greeted them and he didnt reply. Then, i cleaned my table it was dusty! After he saw me doinv thay- he cleaned the rest of the tables. Zero customer service, the young girl was more attentive. Prices are average. Won't return again- Newport businesses survive from local & national tourism. I drove from NYC to enjoy a lobster roll. I prefer Iggy's, bigger rolls (good quality), cheaper prices & better service.

The seafood chowder is the best I have had to date!

The best lobster roll I've ever had

Seafood chowder is average with not much seafood. Lobster roll was not filled with lobster like some of the photos which turned out to be a good thing because it was chewy and rubbery and my jaw would not have survived all that chewing. For the price I expected much more. Some of the nicer restaurants on the wharf across the street have comparable prices and you get more, better quality seafood.

Nice outdoor setting for NE seafood basics. Good buttery bread with the lobster roll, very flavorful chowder. High dill content is a bit of a trademark.

Amazing seafood chowder in a typical New England setting. A must stop if you find yourself in town.

Stop deliberating and go here!

We were on the tail end of a New England road trip and made an impromptu stop in Newport. We had numerous lobster rolls and bowls of chowder across multiple states, and I can say with confidence that the lobster rolls and chowder here is hands-down the best. Not to mention the owners were very friendly and kind. If you are in Newport and are looking for a place to eat, this is an absolute must

Don't forget to also try a stuffie!

Kid-friendliness: Very kind and kid-friendly!

Amazing lobster roll and chowder combo. The roll was full of lobster on a tasty toasted brioche bread. The chowder was delicious. Much better than anything else in the area.
