The menu was outstanding, offering plenty of delicious options to choose from. Our guests are still raving about the food—especially the chicken sandwiches, which were an absolute standout! The bartenders were equally fantastic, bringing such a friendly and upbeat energy to the evening. They went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, and their creative and perfectly mixed drinks added to the festive atmosphere.
On top of that, the venue itself is beautiful and set the perfect tone for our welcome party. The space felt both intimate and lively, which is exactly what we were looking for. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE LGBT+ !! I (a visibly queer person) was harassed and policed solely on the basis of my sexual/ gender identity. I was met with hostility and straight up queerphobia from both the security and manager after asking them to explain why I was being forced to “either buy one of their [$40] shirts or get out.” They cited ‘dress-code’ saying that what I was wearing “wasn’t appropriate for a man to wear”, and that “tank tops are not allowed”. I pointed out that multiple people inside were wearing tank tops, with some people practically wearing nothing at all. In response, they essentially started spewing homophobic rhetoric, clarifying that the actual reason I was being harassed was due to my identity. If you are queer, gay, trans- particularly if you are femme presenting- I would steer clear of this place for your own safety and dignity. This bar caters to white, straight people only and if you are anything but that, don’t expect to be treated equally.
Based on the way their security handled the situation, the staff at this place is a lawsuit waiting to happen…

I was forced off the property and was stopped/ frisked by the police because a woman reported me for spilling a beer on her. I was in complete compliance with the police and the bouncers. I respectfully requested to finish my beer in front of the lead bouncer. He agreed to grab my alcoholic beverage, and he proceeded to dispose of it in front of me. My only request was to be repaid for my $10 entry fee. I was threatened again over the phone by the manager that if I called again respectfully requesting my $10 entry fee that he would "report me to the police" for trespassing. I want to publicly thank the Newport Police Department for their professionalism.

We went to a dueling piano show on Friday night and it was awesome!! Initially we just got standing tickets that were free but they had an extra table in the front row when we got there so we paid for that…best choice ever! The standing room was further back than I would have liked so it was good they had an extra table and I would highly recommend buying a table beforehand. The drinks were *chefs kiss* we tried four different cocktails and loved them all!! Service was beyond amazing, we never ran out of water and the wait time for drinks was reasonable and quick for being packed! Would highly recommend 12/10 to anyone visiting Newport or looking for something fun to do! Also bring cash to request songs!!

Abby was fantastic to work with—she made the planning process smooth and stress-free. To top it all off, the live music was great. It was such a special moment when they serendipitously played and dedicated our first dance song to us, without even knowing it was ours. Last night, my friend who is a brown Brazilian went to order a beer at the bar and a young girl bartender asked him if he wanted to open a tab. He said no, and she tried to argue that he should and he said he didn’t want to. She was very rude about it, and then made up something about a $20 minimum which isn’t true. However she had already served the beer so she ran his card with an attitude. He didn’t tip her. That was his choice because he felt she was rude, and he is a foreigner so doesn’t have the same experience with tips. Either way it would have been maybe $1. A minute later a bouncer comes up to him and says he has to leave, and he asked why? They gave no reason just pulled his arm, which made him drop the beer, and then the bouncer pushed him by the neck out the door. Like, seriously dude?? I don’t know what she told that bouncer but that was some racist crap if I ever saw it.
