Went here after wanting to try it for a while, service at front counter was terrible. I’m normally not one to leave reviews, but the woman that made our coffees and checked us out was very rude. She snapped at my coworker when she tried to order an additional item, accusing her of trying to take a DoorDash order, and was extremely slow. Charged me $15 for a breakfast sandwich and medium coffee even though the sign inside clearly stated it was an $11 special. My breakfast sandwich took a while to be made, which I didn’t think was that weird. However, when my sandwich was ready, she handed it to me and told me after it was in my hands that my order was incorrect, and she gave the door dasher (who had left 5 minutes prior) my sandwich. This was more of a statement than an apology- she didn’t seem at all willing to correct my order. I was already ready to leave after our previous interactions with her, and felt really awkward telling her to remake it correctly, since she seemed intent on getting us out of there. It was the strangest interaction. Food was decent and pastries looked delicious, but I won’t be going back.

Great little spot with a nice selection of pastries. The two girls working the front were incredibly busy and did a great job. My only issue is the cook. When you finish an order you should bring it up front so it can be given to the customer. For some reason the cook makes all the orders and piles them in a table. So with the girls so busy the food just sits in the back getting cold and having customers wait 35 minutes. I just think the process should change so the girls up front aren’t getting the wrath from the customers when the cook is leaving the food in the back. Otherwise great spot

Solid coffee shop with limited seating and even less parking. Staff is friendly, coffee is hot.

Delicious pastries, and great service. The sitting area inside is very small only 2 tables. They have an outside sitting area which is okay šŸ‘ if you don't mind the weather šŸŒ”ļø .

Ordered online 40 minutes in advance, drove out of our way because my mom was excited to give it a try. Arrived and the girl at the cash register told me the order was cancelled and refunded because they didn’t have any of the supplies to make the two sandwiches that were ordered.

I understand that inventory isn’t necessarily her fault, but the complete lack of communication or customer service was very disappointing.

Why not call or email us so we can order elsewhere and save our time? Update your online menu if so much is out of stock?

The sandwich I ended up ordering was mediocre and not at all worth this hassle.

Cute little bakery in downtown Newport. They have a sister cafe/bakery in Middletown. They have an $11 sandwich and coffee combo and a variety of sweet and savory pastries.

I love a good sourdough and they have a nice one. I don't eat sugar or I would have bought the delicious looking pastries they had too.

Dietary restrictions: No sugar or processed foods, mostly organic and only sourdough bread, no other grains, cruciferous veggies or nightshade, and no dairy.

Parking: You can eat outside when weather is nice.
