Solid coffee shop with limited seating and even less parking. Staff is friendly, coffee is hot.

Delicious pastries, and great service. The sitting area inside is very small only 2 tables. They have an outside sitting area which is okay 👍 if you don't mind the weather 🌡️ .

Ordered online 40 minutes in advance, drove out of our way because my mom was excited to give it a try. Arrived and the girl at the cash register told me the order was cancelled and refunded because they didn’t have any of the supplies to make the two sandwiches that were ordered.

I understand that inventory isn’t necessarily her fault, but the complete lack of communication or customer service was very disappointing.

Why not call or email us so we can order elsewhere and save our time? Update your online menu if so much is out of stock?

The sandwich I ended up ordering was mediocre and not at all worth this hassle.

Cute little bakery in downtown Newport. They have a sister cafe/bakery in Middletown. They have an $11 sandwich and coffee combo and a variety of sweet and savory pastries.

I love a good sourdough and they have a nice one. I don't eat sugar or I would have bought the delicious looking pastries they had too.

Dietary restrictions: No sugar or processed foods, mostly organic and only sourdough bread, no other grains, cruciferous veggies or nightshade, and no dairy.

Parking: You can eat outside when weather is nice.

This is a staple if you live anywhere in Newport. Excellent sandwiches and even better baked goods. The staff is always friendly and nice. You better sourdough anywhere else on the East Coast!!!!!!

Got a loaf of bread and a key lime tart with a coffee. The food was excellent. The bread is very solid and comes in several varieties. Recommend you carry out
Coffee was very mediocre but could be improved if they used lighter roast beans and a better brewing method. Coffee ends up tasting burnt otherwise.
I don’t know how replies work, but I edited my post in response to questions

First visit to the Broadway location. Loved the decor and everything in the case looked delicious. I had a breakfast sandwich & peppermint mocha, which was very tasty, while my adult sons had a butter croissant and an almond croissant & peppermint white chocolate. I am not a big fan of croissants, but I now know that is because I have not had proper croissants! The butter and almond croissants I had bites of today were delicate, chewy, and very flavorful. 5 stars from the 3 of us for food, beverages, service, and atmosphere :)

I'm picky with pastries. The butter croissant and baguette are the real deal. As good as from a French boulangerie. 😋
