This place is such a unique, inviting and fun place to get an expresso drink. My favorite drink is the expresso and citrus soda. The offer place to meet with friends which has created an awesome community. I highly recommend checking Simple Merchant Cafe out.

This place is outstanding! We went there and bought a coffee and a pesto cheese toast (I don't remember the exact name, it was the bottom on the menu if ur looking for it), and when we tried it, we went back and bought another one because it was so good! The staff were really friendly and have gave lots of good suggestions on what to do in Newport. Also, there is a free parking lot just around the corner, making it really convenient if you have a car.

Outstanding coffee, food and service!!! Stopped on our road trip and this might be one of my favorite spots so far! The gent making our coffee was super informative (I ask a lot of questions) and kind. His drink making skills are out of this world! The owner came in shortly after we were finished and we got to meet him, he is the type of person that is all good vibes! Highly, HIGHLY recommend the stop, in fact make it a point to go if you’re anywhere close!

Place seems to be popular. Came in after 230p, no breakfast food service after 2:30 p.m.. 3 Star because of the hip hop music quite loud, and super slow wifi (less than 2mb/s). Seems like a nice place, but not what i needed.
