Thank you to Cristina! I have to say I gave Cristina an interesting order and safe to say she KILLED IT! I ordered a bubble waffle with two scoops of matcha ice cream, with fresh strawberries and drizzled with Nutella. It was so pretty I didn’t want to eat it. Family friendly! Very fast service. Highly recommend this place!

My boyfriend and I, on our drive home, were just talking about how we were craving ice cream but that nowhere would be open since it was 11pm. Luckily, we drove past Sticks and Cones and saw that the open sign was still on and the door still open! We stopped inside and were so excited to find out that the man working was still serving past the original scheduled time. He was so sweet and told me that he makes his gelato in house and that it took him two days to make the one I planned on getting! It was soooooo good and he was so helpful/happy to help us out! I’ve tried this establishment before but after this interaction find myself only caring to go here in comparison to other ice cream places in the area which is huge since I’ve lived here for almost four years now and grew up in the summers here my whole life🥹💞

I had the vegan Oreo ice cream (I believe the only vegan option,) could have gone back for more! I did ask if the waffle cones were vegan and was told none of the cones were so be careful when ordering. I do wish they had more vegan options.

Best Gelato in Newport!!! my favorite combo raspberry & hazelnut. Ice creams are flavorful and creamy. Prices are decent, and the service was welcoming. Im sure with all the tourists it can be overwhelming but we were welcomed! I highly recommend this place, they have a few tables outdoors which is perfect to relax and enjoy the Gelato.

We loved Newport Sticks & Cones so much, we came back for a second day in a row! Their homemade gelato is absolutely incredible, and the bubble cone is a must-try. The matcha gelato with strawberries and white chocolate was to die for — one of the best flavor combinations we’ve ever had. If we didn’t live 8 hours away, we’d be here every week! This place is a hidden gem and definitely worth making time for. If you’re in Newport, do yourself a favor and stop by — it’s that good. Don’t be surprised if you end up rearranging your plans just to come back again!

Had a fantastic experience at Sticks & Cones. We had no idea they made their Gelato in house! We were given the tour of their menu and allowed to try a sample. I believe they mentioned some of their ingredients come from Italy. We could truly tell the difference between this ice cream and some of the chains nearby. SO creamy.
Cute little spot right in the heart of Newport downtown. Beautiful view of the busy street right across. Perfect for a beautiful early afternoon, right after a great meal digestion wall downhill, from the nearby Italian Sardella's restaurant. Either to sit right outside by the rock wall, or by the tables outside, or inside on the little storytale tables. One can almost picture the Mr. Rabbit from Alice In Wonderland coming in for a treat. Beautiful old school 1930's music. Giving you a sense of the good old times. They offer Gelato with milk, and without milk. And regular icecream. They make their own waffles in house, so while you're there you can get a whiff of that too. And sit to enjoy your Gelato or icecream seeing all the activity of the people passing by. The owner is actually Italian and he understood us when we spoke Spanish. And served us Gelato which was so finely made. We had a great time. The people there were very lovely, and one of the ladies reminded me of my umbrella before we left. Since I was too mesmerized by the flavor of my strawberry Gelato as we walked out to the busy street. Gracias again.🍧🍦🍨

I’ve never been to an ice cream place that limits each person to one sample- especially when many of the flavors are unique. I can understand if it was a crowded night, however, it was only my family inside. If this is the policy- there should be a sign stating so before customers begin picking a sample. While the ice cream is good, it is definitely overpriced and the service does not match the quality of the product.

I honestly don’t like pulling victim card but twice I’ve come to Newport and twice we’ve been racially profiled. Got completely ignored when asked about where the line started and when we tired to ask again we left were told we had cut the line when there was only one other person inside. The older gentleman who was charging the ice cream is the one who completed ignored us. Won’t be coming back there again
