If you are a sailor, this is the place. Great memorabilia on the wall. We walked in and was greeted by a Labrador Retriever. The owners of the dog came up to us and introduced themselves. They couldn’t have been nicer to us.
After reading these comments, I just had to chime in.
First off, if you are a sailor, this is your home away from home. You’ll meet other sailors with fantastic stories.
Secondly, if you are not use to the ball busting style of a RI bar tender, don’t come here. You won’t understand. (Hence the reviews from “out of towners.”). But, if you have a backbone and a respectful, yet smart mouth, you will be right at home.
