I give it a 5 star for atmosphere but wasn't thrilled with the food. I had the fish tacos. Fish was a little dry. I'll still go back because I love looking out at the water and enjoying one of their great margaritas!
Location 5 star location but food not .I had the lobster roll and was very disappointed. A tiny hot dog roll and mostly claws. I was hoping it would have had more lobster tail for $26.I had enjoyed the pickles and french fries way more.My husband had a disappointing fish taco which looked like left over frozen fish, not even appealing to eat.The waitress was great and attentive .
The view is great and they are doing a good job of cleaning between customers but unfortunately the food and service is not good at at. All of the food was very bland and the fried food had way to much breading.
Very good food at reasonable prices. A hidden gem with nice water views of the harbor.
food was decent, but very expensive for the portion size. i had to wait about an hour for my takeout order to be prepared which was really odd considering they weren't even near max capacity due to COVID guidelines... i probably won't go here again for takeout,, but its not a terrible spot.
The service was great, location / view is a winner, beer selection was a C-, the Lobster Tacos were A+
Good food for the price with an excellent view of the ocean. Definitely will be back
Great food, view & service
Excellent service, great food and drinks. Highly recommended.
Would not even give this a one star review......If you are looking to be treated like a real person GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.The wait staff and management are in dire need of proper customer service training.WORST SERVICE in Newport.Spend your money at any number of great places that appreciate customers. If this restaurant wants to survive in these times they should fire all current employees and start from scratch....We will never visit this DUMP again...

I was working nearby and ordered Fish and chips togo. The fries were good but the fish I personally did not like. Ive had many fish and chips within the area and this was the only one I did not like. im not sure if it was the fish itself but it tasted metallic, a bit difficult to describe but I couldn't finish it.
We were comfortable with the seating arrangement and the food was very good. Service was good too
I was very disappointed with this place and giving them a 3 star is a little to much. We asked for an outside table and we we got called they brought us at an inside table. We choose to wait a little more so we could be seated outside. After another 15 min wait we finally got our table outside. We had to wait 15min for a waiter to acknowledge us. After we ordered, our claim chouders came fast but we had to wait another hour to get our main course. I had the Mai- mai tacos and they were discusting. There was no taste I them whatsoever. Claim chouder and the raw oysters were good. I doubt that we'll be back. Very disappointing experience!
Had a great time at The Port. Great food, drinks, view and service. Sam was our waitress and she was amazing. Very attentive even while she was super busy. Truly an amazing experience and appreciated. We will be back and hope to have Sam again! Thanks!
Can't decide what is my favorite part of The Port. Sam and Don are Rock Star servers: attentive, professional and positive. The food is awesome! I always get the Ahi Tuna, my fave. When really hungry, the fish & chips or combo platter will fill you up. The view is incredible. We pull our boat up to the adjacent dock and head to our favorite spot as often as we can. It's on our Harbor Cruise list of must see spots in Newport. My only disappointment was when a stopped by on a Tuesday and forgot they aren't open. Just the fact that I was disappointed and had to go somewhere else, makes me realize how great The Port is!
