My family and I had Thanksgiving dinner here. The hotel is beautiful and we loved the ambiance. The food was pretty basic and not exciting. It was a pre fix menu and there wasn’t many choices. The food was bland, but nicely presented. The service was great. It was cozy and a nice place to spend Thanksgiving with my family.
The waiter had a bigger party in the private dining room, that required all of his attention, Therefore we had to ask for many things. Unaccepyable for an establishment of this caliber. Not sure I'll go back.
I have been to Vanderbilt once before for a cocktail. This was my first dining experience. While the food was tasty and presentation was nice, my friend found a hair in her salad that did not belong to her. The ambiance was nice but it was absolutely freezing temperature throughout our time there, which made it hard to enjoy the birthday dinner. They placed a book on top of the a/c vent but it was a damp cold and windy evening and there should have been heat on in the dining room....
