Excellent accommodation in a beach front cottage. Grounds were extensive. All staff were friendly and pleasant. Food was great. Management should replace the stainless steel flatware and holloware, it cheapens the experience. Stainless steel belongs in a hospital, not in a luxury hotel.
I didn't know what to expect at the Castle Hill Inn. I went under the recommendation of one of the tour guides on Gansett Cruises. He did say it was hard to get a reservation this people booked from months ahead of time ! Well, our beach cottage, the Nautilus, was a piece of heaven, in what felt to be the end of the earth since you cannot sea beyond the ocean at this cottage. When I checked into the starboard cottage I felt like I was walking into a coastal living magazine!!! It was perfect. I love the deep tub overlooking the water and the extra large shower and the awesome toiletries they provided. Laying in the bed with the doors open and listening to the waves, was so relaxing. The high tea they offer is fantastic, as well as the amazing breakfast! I recommend the lobster hash. My only complaint. One night was not enough!!
