We celebrated our anniversary at this historic restaurant. The service was exceptional, delicious quality food and ambience memorable. The complimentary champagne was a nice touch for our anniversary.
Food very good. Primary server very good. But there was no sommelier, no one on the entire staff with any knowledge of the wine list. The GM was the only one with knowledge and it was their day off. When I go to a restaurant for fine dining and a good/complex wine list I just think that's completely unacceptable. No matter the best excuse that's just not right. Hope the owners see this review.
Good dinner, great service overall a nice evening. Caesar salad was really good! The scallops were very good, but so many cornbread croutons kind of spoiled the salad the scallops were served on.
