We've now had two events catered by Achva (formerly Ahava) Catering, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Freda and her team basically did two full bar mitzvah weekends for us - full catering for the main events, plus kiddush spreads and take-out items to supplement family meals. First of all the girl at the “hostess” desk was incredibly nice & efficient.I ordered a Caesar chicken wrap.
I honestly hate when I have to negatively critique a food item at such a well respected little restaurant in Saco Maine. This Caesar chicken wrap for $17.00 was the worst Caesar wrap I have ever had. It pains me to say that.
I will be back to try their luscious looking pastries along with any of their breakfast items that I have heard...

We had such a delicious Shabbat thanks to Ahava!! They were so nice to talk to on the phone when we had questions, and the food was so, so good with very generous portions. Plus they delivered exactly when they said it would arrive! We are so appreciative and can’t wait to be back in the area so we can order again.
