The menu constantly changes. Courses are always imaginative and you may be surprised - in a good or bad way - by some dishes. You can add the pairings or just opt for a few glasses with your meal. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The ingredients were so fresh! Facilities are clean and comfortable, very casual bar style.

I can't describe how much I've missed Birch during this pandemic. While the prices may be on the high end they offer something more than just food. The beauty and artistry that goes into the experience of eating there is unparalleled. The service is top notch and incredibly knowledgeable. I miss them dearly and can't wait to eat there again!

We visited during pandemic, We sat outside, We ordered few dishes . All came too salty. Although We mention that to our waitress , She ignored the issue. My husband eat the food , so it would note wasted. We did not enjoy the food, nor the attitude. ( Pre Corona time we enjoyed the little dishes). We are not recommending this restaurant in its new setting, Bad experience!

Staff were great. The food was amazing. Started with the oysters, followed by the sweetcorn tempura, and finished with the duck. Every dish was delicious. Nevertheless, we had a truly pleasant experience, ordering a 'tasting' selection that we split: lasagna, salad, squid, ice cream, bread. The restaurant was accomodating and the prices were extremely reasonable.

It was a sweet, rustic, and cozy space, perfect for a small group of friends or a date.

Nice and friendly staff. Nice mix of dishes on the menu. We enjoyed our food. Their terrace offers privacy from the street and its traffic. What we enjoyed less was eating with plastic utensils - my knife broke, on cardboard plates, sipping wine from plastic cups. Not sure if this was done for our protection from the virus or for their own convenience.

Birch is one of our favorite restaurants. Heading into the weekend, last week, we decided to help support the local economy by ordering take-out. It's not usually the best way to enjoy refined, gourmet food as items cool off and, of course, everything gets to the table reheated. Nevertheless, we had a truly pleasant experience, ordering a 'tasting' selection that we split: lasagna, salad, squid, ice cream, bread. The restaurant was accomodating and the prices were extremely reasonable. We will do it again, although would clearly prefer to visit one of our favorite restaurants once it's opened again...

incredible tasting menu, awesome vibe with small communal feel, excellent service. All round probably the best restaurant in PVD

I came here with my partner to celebrate an anniversary and we were so happy we did! My partner is vegetarian and she was treated to a meal that was so much more than just dishes without meat. There were even dishes that made me (a borderline carnivore) jealous! I can't say enough about the service here which is beyond compare. I love the set-up of the restaurant as well.

Never disappoints, always amazing menu, flavors, and service. Great combinations of seafood, meat, vegetables served so unexpectedly. Our favorite providence restaurant.

Location: At the heart of providence, easy to find and there's decent place to park. It is quite small place. Ambiance: Classy, quiet and very personal. I really liked how it was dim inside the restaurant and the way how table is designed so that everyone at the table is facing the people serving inside the box. Food: went for the dinner and I'm not gonna lie I had high expectations for this place reading reviews but it was definitely really good price for 4dish for the $60 course however, it wasn't the best I've had. Appetizers were delicious and I was really happy but overall I would say the menu is a little creative not so much as I thought it would be. Main dish was a bit dissappointing, my friend ordered steak and it was really too tiny and I ordered cabbage menu because I had an amazing experience with cabbage at different restaurant that was similar concept, and I honestly thought cabbage as main dish was absolute mistake. It was just regular cabbage taste and nothing so special about it I felt like ( but this is also bc of my high expectations) Dessert was delicious definately peach was good but my friend ordered raspberry one and it was somewhat quiet weird mix of two ingredients (it wasn't good nor bad) Service: The service was amazing tho I have to say, they told me they mentioned about my opinions about the cabbage menu to the chef and it showed that they cared about the customers. I just wished the food could have satisfied me more with the money I paid for and maybe my expectations were too high!
