This business really is insanity leaving food out on sidewalks and they have a huge rat problem
I’m very concerned about the sanitation practices at this restaurant. I’ve seen boxes of food and supplies being kept directly on the concrete outside, right next to trash bins. This is an unsanitary area exposed to pests and contamination, and it’s not appropriate for storing food that will later be served to customers.
The restaurant’s waste handling also seems to be a problem. They’ve been in trouble before for washing garbage into the street, and now they appear to be leaving food and packaging on this same ground. The result has been an increase in rodents, which have even started entering nearby buildings.
I’m very concerned about the cleanliness and food handling at this restaurant. I’ve personally seen boxes of food and supplies stored directly on the ground outside, right next to trash bins. This area is exposed to dirt, pests, and other contaminants, which makes it unsafe for food storage.
The restaurant’s poor waste management has already led to a rodent problem that spread into nearby buildings, including mine. The owner even mentioned being in trouble for washing garbage into the street — and now it appears they’re placing food directly on the ground instead.
These conditions raise serious health and sanitation concerns. Until these issues are resolved, I’d recommend being cautious and checking for updates before eating here.

Saturday afternoonish. Decent ambience. Food was decent also. Silverware was gross and dirty wrapped in a paper napkin. Brought us our food before silverware and waited 5 minutes to receive silverware in order to eat. Had to flag down one of the waitresses for it. 😂 Not sure if they were slightly under staffed or just have very disorganized waitresses lol I didn’t like my drink so went to the bar to request another one and returned the one I didn’t like. They still charged me for the drink I returned. I just noticed. 🤦🏽♀️ the waitress seemed over stimulated. I don’t mind the unfriendliness but the hastiness with service? That’s trash when it comes to being a server. We are also paying for time. Shouldn’t have tipped her anything. Won’t be back.

Restaurantji Recommends
I came here with my husband on a busy weekend night. I’ve been before on a slower evening, and the experience was much more relaxed, so I’d recommend coming on a weeknight if you prefer a calmer vibe. This time, I ordered the red snapper stuffed with seafood (recommended by my server) and my husband had the churrascofongo, both dishes were delicious. Our servers name was Elma, so incredibly sweet and attentive. She made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Her recommendation for the red snapper turned out to be an excellent choice. The drinks were outstanding as well!! Can’t complain, I had the pink drink and my husband had the Romeo and Juliet, our server mentioned they were made by a bartender named Janel’s (or something close), and she truly did an amazing job!
The atmosphere is lively, with mostly Spanish music playing, it can get a little loud, but it adds to the energy of the place. We did have to wait to be seated, and unfortunately the patio was already full, but overall it was still a great experience. We’ll definitely be returning, though probably on a slower night so we can enjoy it even more.

Terra Luna was once a place that separated themselves, from the rest of the restaurants on the hill. Good food, good music and most importantly good staff. Seems like like they have lost themselves and what's important. The staff is all new, the food is still good but the energy and vibes are all off. Bring Gretchal back and make Terra Luna great again.

Had dinner last night. Their menu has a lot of options. The ambiance was typical of a Dominican club/restaurant with good Latin music playing. We ordered chicharron mofongo and oxtail mofongo. The portion was huge I recommend getting one and splitting it. I ordered the “El mister” as a drink. It was a very spicy margarita I don’t recommend if you can handle heat. I didn’t not smoke the hookah so I can’t critique. Hope this helped.

Disappointed, definitely cannot compare to the Lawrence location. Waste of my money, we ordered the ceviche en taza de tostones as an appetizer and it was just ok.. then we ordered the chivo al vino, it tastes more like tomato sauce, the chivo at the Lawrence location is to die for! Then the passion fruit drink was powder Tang instead of passion fruit. I strongly recommend the Lawrence location, I’m bummed that I didn’t do there instead.
