The food was amazing. As a party of four, we all ordered different dishes. Caesar salad was especially good as was the Brussels sprout appetizer. Pasta dish was very flavorful as were both the chicken and salmon entrees. Large portions !Very accommodating with dietary preferences. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Cafe Nuovo has always been a favorite. However, it is deserving of a truly phenomenal compliment to everyone there for the fantastic service, menu, and food quality during restaurant week. Why? Short and to the point: The Caesar Salad - 5 stars; the creamy tomato soup - 5 stars; the haddock entree with a honey butternut puree, crispy fingerlings, braised swiss chard with pancetta, and chili crisp- 5 stars; the pot of mousse -and the chocolate lava cake desserts - 5 stars. It just could not get any better than that level of perfection.

We normally love Cafe Nuovo. It's one of our favorite places. But this time it was not that great. The service was good but the food was just meh. All of our entrées were just OK. And after dinner, one of us got an Irish coffee that was horrible and one of us got an espresso martini that was equally as horrible. We were actually quite surprised because it's normally really good.

Wine pour was a tasting of wine and very expensive. Will think twice before returning to this restaurant.

What a wonderful dining experience. The location right in the river was so perfect but then the service and the food were just amazing as well. We will definitely be back many times.

Our first time back in about 20 years. First, we ordered an espresso martini. Not sure if anyone knows how to make these anymore, but they definitely don't know how at this restaurant. There was no froth and it was incredibly sweet considering we told them only to add Tito's, Kaluha , and espresso. My guess is the espresso was mixed with simple syrup or it just was not real espresso, which is unfortunate given the hype of this restaurant. The bar area had very little atmosphere as well. We ordered the veal pasta dish and it was below expectations. The broth tasted like beef broth labeled over the dish. It was not very good. I really wanted to love the drinks and food, but that was not the case. On the positive side, our waiter Leo was awesome, kind, and attentive!

A group of 10 visited for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect!!! The restaurant was beautiful, the food was incredible, and the service was fabulous!! Our waiter was wonderful and put up with our noise and excitement. We will be back!!

Had a great dinner from appetizers to dessert. Nice atmosphere and attentive service. Highly recommend! The fluke crudo and the potato scaled flounder were amazing!
We had to ask if we had a server as we sat awhile with no one approaching our table. My candied spaghetti squash was warm in some spots and cold in others. We celebrated my husbands birthday. The 'Happy Birthday' message was written on the wrong dessert. I wouldn't go back.

The food was incredible starting with the burrata and tartare appetizers, all the way to the bolognese, but the highlight of the evening was the service and attentiveness of Leo. He truly made it an anniversary to remember with the quality of his waiter ship and customer service. We will definitely be back.
