Food was so so for the price. Steak was terrible. The smell was of old cellar. Won't be back

Capricious has always been consistently excellent. Food, service and atmosphere are excellent. It's been one of our favorite restaurants for decades.

This restaurant is really beautiful in terms of ambiance and interior. Great location for a date night or a special occasion. Food was overall very good (Filet, Bolognese, Carpaccio), only miss was the crème brulee which was set hard/overcooked. Overall had a nice time and will return to give another shot and just order a different dessert.

Capriccio's is an amazing dining experience. From the moment you arrive at Capriccio's you will be wined and dined. The food is incredible and the waitstaff was very attentive to your every need.

A colleague recommended Capriccio for a business dinner and they did not disappoint! Thank you

Not the best time celebrating our anniversary dinner. Wine was ok and no price per glass on menu. I received the wrong meal twice. Just not what we expected. Use to be one of our favorite OG spots. Not sure what happened.

Went for my fiancé's birthday. The atmosphere was incredible. All of the food was excellent and the service was fantastic. Can't really think of anything negative to say. If you want a fancy date night, I'd highly recommend

We had our anniversary dinner last night. Aaron was a wonderful waiter and recommended some really nice options. The food was great!

I think it was very expensive. The price of a glass of wine was almost $16.00 . The food was good but they give less now . We have been going there for over 30 years now and not sure if we will be going back anytime soon. It cost us 170.00 for just 2 dinners and a salad we split . They have gotten so expensive. The waiter was good but never asked us if we wanted desert and just came and gave us the bill.

Opentable Diner

Very nice dining experience, good food , not crowded, waiter was very pleasant and professional and service was timely.

Always a 10/10. As an avid restaurateur, I can't think of a better place for a romantic night out. From the pleasant valet that greet you as soon as you pull up, to the coat check once you leave....it's my favorite restaurant in RI. You're greeted at the entrance and immediately thrown back into the Prohibition. Music fills the air, accompanied by laughter and the amazing aroma of what's being cooked up in the kitchen. Seating and tableware make you feel like you're the center of attention. If you're lucky to be served by Elias or Steve, you'll be in for a treat. Those two are hilarious. As are most of the other wait staff. Don't be afraid to try something new or ask for suggestions. This time around, we started the night off with a Capriccio's Lemonade and a glass of Moscato. Drinks are hand crafted to perfection, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had Salmon Carpaccio, Foie Gras, and Frog Legs. The carpaccio was served with cold plates, tiny forks with lemon peels, and looked absolutely beautiful. Foie Gras (always a favorite) melts in your mouth and is plenty for two to share and try. My girlfriend has never had it, so this time, we shared. P.S. it didn't last long, hahaha. Frogs legs (never tried before): I was skeptical at first, but am always willing to try once. It was battered to a crunchy perfection with a honey chili sauce that was incredible. For entrees, I had the Beouf Wellington (my favorite). TO DIE FOR!!! I stand by the fact that this amazing place prepares it the best (Hells Kitchen is a close second). It is prepared tableside, and the au jus makes a pleasant SIZZLE when they pour it onto your meal. My girlfriend was a bit overwhelmed as she was not used to this type of experience. Elias asked her some questions, and he was able to assist her in deciding on the Veal Porterhouse. Dessert we had Crepes Suzette, which is Flambèd tableside and Pistachio Gelato. 1000/10 experience. Thank you, Steve and Elias.

My first time here. Service was professional and excellent, as was the atmosphere. Very disappointed with my food. Beef stroganoff wasn't hot (I sent it back) and the tenderloin chunks were unremarkable . Nothing was offered to make up for it. The dish didn't live up to description on line. Bread in bread basket was stale. Crème brûlée topping was not hot. I would not return.

Stuck in a corner between two brick walls. Meal was suppose to be cooked table side I couldn't see over the other people at the next table to see my meal getting cooked. Very disappointed for my birthday dinner.
