Charuma is truly a gem. The friendly service, high-quality tea, and perfectly chewy housemade tapioca boba always impress. But what really sets Charuma apart for me is their fried chicken cutlets. Tender, juicy, and impeccably seasoned (the plum flavor is my favorite), I can honestly say I’ve never had better chicken in my life.

If you’re in Providence, don’t hesitate to stop by!
The boba was excellent. One of the toppings options is their homemade tapioca boba which I got and it was delicious -- super chewy and not at all too sweet. The drink itself was also well-made. They also have really nice outdoor seating which I appreciated.

I also got the tea eggs which I think next time I would skip, though. The yolks were very dry and the "tea" flavor didn't really get into the eggs. Otherwise, though, I would definitely recommend...
