Fantastic birthday meal with warm, attentive service and some truly outstanding surprise additions to the tasting menu. Thank you for a superb experience.

We had an amazing experience at Claudine. The food, wine, service, and atmosphere were all impeccable. Thrilled to have a true fine dining restaurant in Providence. Worth every penny. We will certainly return.

Exceptional food, extraordinary service. Amazing place for a special event - we celebrated our anniversary. My advice - do the 'add-ons' on the menu (I had the best scallop of my life last night) and the wine pairing (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are tuned into each dish to take advantage of every flavor. Can't wait to return.

Unequivocal recommendation. Not only outstanding, unforgettable food (I continue to think the house bread is a great snapshot of the experience and the brown butter leek infused bread I had was to die for and necessitated seconds) but very intimate and friendly service. You expect kindness and attentiveness when you’re paying $300+ for a meal and drinks, but this felt like at another level. I went at 5pm on a Sunday for a birthday-present-to-myself treat, and I could’ve sworn the whole staff was working just for me.

Incredible.

Go. Just go. It’s a deal for $165 for the base menu and the whole space is worth it for that price. Knowledgeable servers, meaningful plates and perfect glasses.

Celebrated my 2.5 year anniversary here with my girlfriend and the Claudine team made it special and so memorable with gestures such as complementary bubbles, great conversation and an aperitif to end the meal, including accommodating an allergy so easily.

This is what PVD needs in our culinary revolution, and I hope Josh & Maggie (the head chefs/owners who have Michelin resumes) are here to stay.

There is no restaurant experience like this in Providence. It's not a meal—it's a journey. Nice, knowledgeable people take you and your taste buds on a two-hour joyous adventure.

We kind of lost our minds and splurged on the wine pairing for her and the non-alcoholic pairing for me (who knew such a thing existed?!? A few photos below ) So the bill was a bit of a gut punch, but worth it.

This was an incredible experience. From the moment you walk in though the entire tasting menu you are guided along a journey of culinary excellence. There are some supplements to the menu and they are all worth it, the caviar and lobster was one of the best dishes I've ever had. I highly recommend the wine pairing as they are thoughtfully picked to compliment every dish. This is a special place and Providence is lucky to finally have a true fine dining restaurant.

Claudine in Providence RI isn’t just dinner, it’s a masterful performance.
Only 26 seats, velvet curtains, and a gilded ceiling — the stage is set.
The chefs are actors, plating like ballet dancers in the spotlight.
The servers? Narrators guiding you scene by scene.
The room hums like opening night on Broadway or here PPAC.
It’s Michelin-level theater with prestige.
Providence suddenly feels like Paris, or Disney’s Ratatouille come to life.
Here, you don’t just eat — you applaud. BRAVO & ENCORE !

There are no other words than wow. From the moment I sat down, every detail of the evening felt intentional and flawless. Each plate that was served not only looked like a work of art but delivered layers of flavor that left me wanting more. The wine pairings felt like a natural extension of the dish, enhancing and deepening the experience with every sip.

The service was warm, attentive, and perfectly paced, allowing me to fully enjoy each course without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere struck a balance between refined and inviting, creating the kind of setting where you can completely immerse yourself in the food and the moment.

Though I am only visiting Providence, this dining experience has left such a lasting impression that it makes me want to return again, just to relive it. Truly impeccable from start to finish.

Claudine is an extraordinary dining experience. The 8+ course tasting menu ($165) is thoughtful, beautifully executed, and celebrates New England ingredients with French finesse. We visited The French Laundry earlier this year, and each dish at Claudine could have easily passed for one there—refined, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Highlights included the Maine bluefin tuna, Atlantic halibut, and the unforgettable Miyazaki A5 Wagyu, with desserts like the peach melba and brown butter crêpe cake to end the night perfectly. The space is intimate and welcoming, the service attentive without being pretentious, and every detail feels intentional. We’re huge foodies who enjoy Michelin-level dining, and this was truly one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to—worthy of a star, worth every penny, and perfect for a special occasion.

Very disappointed.
We made reservation on 8/1 for 9/13,a special occasion. The reservations were made on the phone. We drove 2.5 hours to get here on 9/13. However, our reservations were lost, and they turned us away. They were able to find evidence of the call, but the called was marked a request not a reservation. The person on the phone did not indicate that it was not a reservation. We did not get a confirmation, but we figured a new restaurant... Who knows if they send reservation confirmations. Apparently they do. So my tip, if you don't get a reservation confirmation, call them - something went wrong.

We are so happy to have Claudine here in town to put an emphatic exclamation point on the fine dining scene here in Providence. Everything from the ambience to the exceptional food, the stellar service and the pacing is executed to perfection. Deft touches such as the buttery undertone of the avocado to complement the briny oyster with sea urchin roe and the peeled cotton candy grapes to highlight the creamy burrata let you know you are in a truly special place. Once you’ve experienced a meal here you’ll agree that the price is actually a bargain. Plan on about 2 ½ hours and no – you will not be hungry at the end of the meal.

I discovered Claudine by accident and I am so happy I did. I don't leave many reviews, the only restaurant I've reviewed so far was a family owned, tiny place in Patagonia.

Claudine exceeded my expectations in both food quality and service. They prepared an outstanding pescatarian tasting menu to accommodate my diet. Every single item was delicious, with layers of balancing flavors.

What stood out also, compared to other high-end restaurants I've been to, was the staff. I was alone but it felt like I was having dinner with friends. Will absolutely be back the next time I pass through Providence.

Once in a lifetime experience (although it was so good, we'll need to come back many a time!)

Staff was incredibly friendly and patient in describing the various dishes, and were comfortable answering our questions about etiquette (with us being new to this tier of dining). Especially our favorite, Sam!

Thanks for an unforgettable experience!
