Great atmosphere, food was mediocre. If you like whisky, you might want to check out their huge selection. I really wanted to like it here but won't be back.

Food is pricy, portions are small, and brisket and ribs are okay to bad depending on the piece you get (my brother's home bbq is way better). The cornbread is awful, needs to be drenched in butter to be edible. If I go back it will be for the excellent bar/mixed drinks. Only a couple TVs on side at bar... which makes that unlikely. Nice overall atmosphere. Service was okay.

In my never ending quest for BBQ, it was Durk’s for tonight. Voted “Best in RI” ? was definitely an incentive to go and try it out. Not sure who voted Durks as best, but hey, anyone can have a bad night.Walked in to the middle of Saturday night service and saw max 10-12 people sitting…. Should have seen that as a warning ⛔️FYI, all wine selections come in cans…micro beer choices are okay at best. Also, this place has a heavy selection of whiskeys, but what if you just want a cold Narragansett with a meal?Ordered a sangria….got what tasted like a sweet whiskey ? punch ?Wanted to try a little bit of everything since it was my first time there….The food was somewhat disappointing at best …..Wings were overcooked/ charred/ no flavor.Brisket Chili was probably the best thing orderedMeatloaf Sandwich tasted just like a burgerThe Pork Ribs had a great smoke ring and although cooked perfectly, lacked any flavor. The Beans and Mac n Cheese also were both plain and had little to no flavor.I guess I just expected more…..Very little value for the cost.Kept thinking of where else to go tonight and leaving as quickly as possible. Not recommended for several reasons.Plenty of other great places to eat BBQ in Providence…..those 10 patrons on a Saturday night spoke volumes to me without uttering a single word.??

Great all around experience. Smoked wings and brussel sprouts were terrific, wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. Pulled pork, brisket and chicken sausage were all great in their own way with nice blends of flavor and a good mix of crisp and tender bits of pork and brisket. The food didn't need extra sauce, but it did add a little to the pork. Finally, we all agreed that the skillet cornbread was amazing and would be worth doubling up on in the future!

Stopped in as we were in the mood for some bbq. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and corn bread. Others at my table got the chicken legs, sausage, wings, beans and coleslaw. Service was very good, food also was really good. The pickles were a surprise favorite among all of us.They also had an extensive whiskey list with standard prices for the offerings.

Went for an early lunch, prior to monster jam show with kids. Barely ordered much food food was not hot and barely seasoned, waiter (young black male) was confused and overwhelmed waited over 40 minutes for food and another large party to the side of us was waiting as well, the table ordered before us so when the food finally came out they insisted the food that they finally served us was theirs, very confusing, we ordered drinks they came really late, after the food arrived. We get places are understaffed but the $33 gratuity tack on was not necessary, due to the food quality and the speed of service. By the looks of the other large party they weren’t happy with the service either so it was not just us. Please do better and do not add $33 for a tip when clearly the service was absolutely horrible and the food was COLD. Drinks were not even that great and not well portioned to match the food ratio, was it like TAPAS BBQ??? Overdone BBQ place with no bbq experience whatsoever. Please retrain your staff. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THANKS PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND RUN THE KIDS TO SICILIAS OR CASERTAS ON THE HILL OR EAT AT HOME YOULL SAVE YOUR FAMILY $200.

I do not understand how this restaurant is voted #1 BBQ in Providence. If Durk's is #1, I would run away from ALL BBQ restaurants in Providence. There are two types of brisket cuts. One with the big slice of fat running through the middle, the second without the fat. Durk's serves the brisket with the fat. The fat needed to be rendered a little bit more. I could not taste a distinct smoked flavor in the brisket. The banana pudding was a joke compared to banana puddinga in the South. The thick torched marshmallow is the star of the banana pudding. The pudding lacked vanilla wafers, bananas, to pudding ratio. I tasted maybe four banana slices, and one was definitely rotten. I had to dig to find vanilla wafers. The pudding lacked real banana flavoring. As far as atmosphere, there was a group of businessmen having a great time over lunch and drinks. Service- I had to go figure out how to pay. The guy never came back. I also ordered the smoked mushrooms. The mushrooms have a very distinct up-front smoked flavor, and then the brown sugar flavor follows. After I ate a few mushrooms, I started to taste the smoked flavor as a burnt flavor. I tried a few more mushrooms. Needless to say, I left a bowl of mushrooms. The BBQ sauce is thin. There is a hint of flavor. Each time I tried the BBQ sauce, I waited for a deep flavor, which never happened. I'm extremely disappointed. I will stick to BBQ in the South.Parking: Paid street parking is difficult to find because of location.

EDIT: The manager did reach out via email to make it right. It does not change our experience, but it did go a long way to bring up my overall opinion of the restaurant. My sister and I were looking forward to eating here, but we were sadly very disappointed. My sister wanted to order a pulled pork sandwich, but they “had just run out”. You’re a BBQ place. You don’t have pulled pork at 6 PM? And that was the beginning of the downhill slide. I ordered a meatloaf sandwich (pictured) and my sister order a hamburger, which was a sad substitute for pulled pork. The buns on both sandwiches were cold like they just came out of the walk in cooler. I took one bite of my sandwich and that was it. It was dry, overcooked, no bbq sauce and the “meat” was very salty. After I pushed the plate aside, the waiter said didn’t like it? And I told him no. Didn’t ask if I wanted to try something else, nothing. I totally get it wasn’t his fault the food was terrible, but at least attempt to make it right. My sisters Mac and cheese lacked flavor and half of it was cold. This was our first and last visit. I’m not sure if it was an off night but I wouldn't recommend if you want real and good tasting BBQ.

The buffalo wings had great flavor & they provided more than enough blue cheese. The durt pudding was a good portion for two. I also loved the music they were playing!

I came to try the cornbread and it was okay but I wouldn't come back for it. It seemed fresh but was slightly dry.
