Had dinner here for an event and loved it, so I came back for more. Absolutely delicious BBQ! Their cheddar jalapeno sausage is ridiculously flavorful, and the ribs just fall right off the bone. The collard greens were super salty (and vinegary) and could use a notch less, but the coleslaw was great. Really enjoyed the food again!
I always enjoy Durk’s when I get a chance to go. I have enjoyed every meal I have had. Most reviews will be about the meats, which being a bbq joint, rightfully so. But, the item of surprise for me was their pierogis on the starter menu! Some of the best I’ve had. I didn’t expect it from a bbq house, coming from someone who has a Polish heritage, but I was pleasantly surprised. Obviously a different take than the traditional polish, but a really good take! This review is for catering: we worked with Durk's to cater our wedding off-site and can't say enough good about the experience. Jason was super friendly and communicative throughout the process, we had total leeway with the menu (including making substitutions/mods to accommodate our vegetarian guests), and our guests raved they'd never had better wedding food.
