Visited on a Saturday evening and it wasn’t packed. Service was the best! Leandra was attentive, friendly and made the experience all that better! Authentic Jamaican food. The chicken pasta, candied yams and mac&cheese were all fresh and delicious. The Bob Marley is worth a try and the establishment as a whole is worth a visit!

Walked in for takeout. Noticed charger ports under the bar so I decided to dine in. Best decision. The atmosphere was perfect. Great music! Amazing food! Awesome drinks! Genuinely friendly bar staff! I've been back 3 times times within 2 weeks. Chef is A1!!! Thank you guys again

Because it was a seeming slow night, I'll have to excuse the intense concentration towards the "Connect 4" game that was taking place when I arrived. I do have to say that I see the potential this spot has. The esthetics were great. Perfect for a night out for a hometown vibe with an international flare. I was rockin' out to the afrobeat songs the live dj was playing. To the meal... Oxtail tells me everything I need to know about a Caribbean restaurant. And I must admit, their's is valid. Easy separation from the bone and bites of flavor that can bring back memories. The plantains were just right. That sweet you expect and fried to near perfection. Now, I'll give credit because the flavors in the rice were all there. I appreciated the coconut. My only discrepancy is that it was cold. I appreciate that fast service, but some nice plastic and monitoring of the water in the well can solve that. Same for the yams. If they were hot, they would be a win. Lastly. And my favorite part of they experience. My server provided samples of their fruit juices. She presented flavors like lemon, ginger, fruit punch, etc. I selected fruit punch and apple ginger. BUSSIN!!! Overall, it should be on your list of spots to go so they can catch a vibe and eat like you wanna. I'll go back!

Note on the door said “we’re closed” however, the hours posted on the door said it should have been opened at 12P. This was also verified on google that also listed it should have been opened by 12P.
Went there today on (Sunday) at 12:30P and it was dark inside and a sad little note hanging…
This was my first time FINALLY going to try this place, I live down the street & unable to go out often due to the expensive city we live in. I was over the moon excited and then left with utter disappointment.
Mockingly posted on the door “Spend time with us”…. I tried ???♀️

I came in at 11:30, no where else was open, desperately hungry, and my man Ricky hooked me up with the oxtail and the collard greens and the Mac n cheese. Oh my lord. And then he pulled out the ginger and pineapple drink, best Jamaican food in the Northeast no doubt!!

I’ve order from these place before and their food is good but beware when ordering delivery through Uber Eats or any other service.They wouldn’t contact you if an item is out or to ask if you want a replacement. They would just send it as is.
The food and vibe here is excellent. Had a great meal that reminded me of a vacation in Jamaica. They are smoking the jerk chicken here at the restaurant. So delicious.

I had the jerk chicken with rice and beans and candid yams. My boyfriend had stewed chicken with candid yams and tosados. Very good food. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The cook also came out and greeted us. Comfortable atmosphere. I will be visiting again!

Good God this place was fun. And it was only Wednesday night! Ice cold red stripe (which I'm told is NOT how they drink it in Jamaica) was right on time. The chicken spring rolls are some of the best eating I've ever had. Sirloin was cooked perfectly and seasoned in a unique and delicious manner. Collard greens are Delicious. Just great vibes here. Amazing people.
