WOW!! Stopped in for a quick bite - first time here. What an uplifting atmosphere - bright & cheery! Had the shrimp spring rolls which were very tasty. Service was very attentive. Will definitely come back for more of a meal next time. Check this place out!

Delicious food, serene environment, and delightful service. Their banh mi sandwich is amazing--a bit homier than the typical banh mi (which are already starting at spectacular!) I also enjoy the streamlined menu which makes decisions easy and the whole experience cleanly minimalist. I'm so glad Lotus Pepper decided to come to the East Side.

Since moving to a brick and mortar service, Lotus Pepper has continued to thrive. I come back again and again (sometimes two days in a row) for the pork bahn mi. There is something in the sandwich spread that is incredibly tasty that I crave always. The inside is bright, clean, and has nice counter seating looking over Hope St.

Lotus Pepper was delicious as a food truck and it's even better as a brick and mortar! Tang is wonderful and everyone at the counter gives great service whenever you pop in. Obviously the Bahn mi is a go-to but the mushroom pancakes - or the shrimp ones too - are a secret hit you should try.

I was so excited to try this place! I've seen their food truck previously but never had a chance to order from them. I had the chicken rice bowl with crispy roll. Yum! The lemongrass chicken was delicious and the crispy roll was perfect. Can't wait to come back!
I'm loving this new restaurant on Hope Street that took over where Lucky Kitchen used to be (ikr "used to be" - very RI thing). A young couple owns and runs it. They are coming off of great success with a food truck and now they're happily putting down some roots. This is fresh Vietnamese cuisine that is really as good as it gets around here. Highly recommend the spring rolls for fresh lite expressions of this simple dish. Vermicelli and rice bowls are wonderful with great protein pairings although I wouldn't recommend the chicken as it's a little bit dry. They treat the veggies with great respect for their texture and freshness with plenty of cilantro with positive effect. Very tasty and very family friendly. Nice owners too.

I love going here if I need a quick filler meal! I must admit I am a bahn mi snob. I personally prefer a traditional bahn mi, however this a good go to place for those who have never tried it because it has the essentials of a good sandwich: fresh ingredients like the slaw, well seasoned meat, and great bread. Make sure to grab their house-made chili oil with your meal! It takes it to the next level. I love their beverage options, too! It's nice to have seltzers and teas available especially with the abundance of coffee places around. I also want to add the space is so tranquil and cozy. The owner is always exceptionally hospitable.
