My friend took me there for my birthday dinner on December 20th. It was excellent all across the board. The birthday slice of cheesecake was the most charming one I've ever seen, it takes a lot to impress me considering that I've been to 47 states in the US and exactly 60 countries all over the world. That was #1 in my book!

The day we went was quite empty despite being a Friday night. Most staff were just on their phone since they had nothing to do. Our server was quite rude, but the lady who seated us was quite nice. The place was so cold though. It was 20 F when we went and they were attempting to use a mini-split climate control system as a heat pump, which doesn’t work at such cold temperatures. I was bundled in my winter jacket and i was still cold. The music was pretty terrible and unreasonably loud, so much so that it was difficult to talk. However, the interior was quite vibey, and the food was really good and well-decorated despite being quite small for the price. Would not recommend this place.

The service was incredibly SLOW and the staff was RUDE.. Our food came out cold and tasteless, and nobody seemed TO CARE! It took forever to get the check.Definitely not worth it..TERRIBLE SERVICE

came here for the first time last night and it was amazing! some of the best dominican sushi i’ve ever had and the atmosphere was amazing! our server was also extremely sweet and informative the whole night ! would definitely recommend!!
Had date night here during the week for the first time. The sushi and cocktails were delicious and they had the best tostones!! We ordered the rice entree though and were immediately VERY unsatisfied and after two bites we asked the waitress to please take it back. She told us we were still going to be charged for it because that was the policy. We wound up ordering more rolls since the entree didn’t work out but were disappointed in the customer service. Overall the food was good but for the price and automatic gratuity, the customer service/policy can be improved.

I came here for the first time friday night with my friends and we sat at the bar because there were no tables available..for what it's worth we don't regret it..our bartender with the beautiful eyes and greatest smile and personality recommended some fire sushi and out of this world entrees..we ordered the el fokin roll..the chinitiqs for appetizers..mofongo de camarones..and sweet and spicy sesame chicken..everything was exactly what she said..amazing..drinks were just as great..she just made us new regulars

This restaurant is great. The food was awesome, the drinks were pretty good, the service was excellent, and the vibe was nice. I appreciate the server making a special mixed drink for us. Seems like the customer service has improved, considering the reviews on this topic. As far as the check, I do have to say, as others have mentioned, it could be misleading; the main check says 15% tip included, but then you get the second one (the one that you have to sign), and it shows all percentages you can tip (the server does NOT point that out). If you don't pay close attention, you will end up tipping twice (images included). Other than that, we had a great experience and will be going back soon!
