The ambiance was lovely, though my seat faced a blank wall, which limited my view of the décor. Despite that, I'd happily return and just ask for a better seat next time

Maria Cucina is festive and atmospheric which is why we chose this restaurant for a special occasion. Unfortunately much of the food for our party of 8 was inedible- especially the fish and chicken selections which were so dry they couldn't be eaten. The only decent entrees our table of 8 ordered were the veal parm and the pasta with clams. So if you go, order old school.

This is as close to Italy as it gets! Being located in the Italian American Club was a real treat! It was a great meal and the service was superb. Zack seated me and Nick was our server. They were both exceptional and very professional. I will definitely return the next time I am in Providence.

It was expensive for what you got. Chicken parm was Dry dry, dry. Portions are super small. It's pasta, come on. My meal was good but again expensive.
