I enjoy the different vegan and plant-based option at Plant City. There is the option to eat more casual downstairs, there is nice outdoor seating overlooking the river and bridge, and the upstairs Sezn offers fine dining. I tried Sezn for the first time and enjoyed the sweet potato gnocchi, eggplant lasagna and matcha strawberry shortcake. It was a beautiful atmosphere with very attentive staff. The food was exceptional.
Love love love Plant City! The food is always great, service is friendly and helpful, it’s a great spot to keep coming back to.
We do wish it was more obvious that Sezn is only open on specific days - the reservations don’t address it well and the servers get asked A LOT about it from people hoping to eat there.
Great macaroons! Not a fan of the burgers. They are black bean burgers, but very very dry. They taste almost like they were dehydrated rather than baked or fried. It wasn't terrible but was far from delectable. Black bean burgers are great, but it was a little too crunchy and thin for my liking.🫘🍔

New.Burger is a vibrant food hall located on the river, featuring great outdoor seating and bike-friendly access. The complex includes two restaurants, Besina and Double Zero, along with a smoothie bar, grocery store, and grab-n-go section. Besina serves innovative dishes like Tlayuda, a thin Oaxacan flatbread topped with jackfruit and cashew crema. Double Zero offers creative options like deconstructed raw lasagna and warm creamed spinach dip with toasted flatbread. The food hall is fully plant-based, with everything on the menu being vegan, and staff are friendly and willing to answer questions about allergies.
Customers enjoy the beautiful building and the market downstairs, which offers many local vegan groceries and good options for to-go. The space has a great vibe, perfect for a casual meal or a nice outing. Popular dishes include the mushroom and onion quesadilla, the spicy cauliflower enchiladas, and the Sammie with shiitake bacon. The pesto pizza and muffins are praised for their deliciousness. The Bloody Mary is also a highlight, and the overall atmosphere makes it a great place for a date, dinner, or snack. Visitors appreciate the variety of vegan options and the friendly service, making New.Burger a unique and welcoming spot in downtown Providence.
