Best pad thai that I've had here in Providence. Also, many Brown students, faculty and staff enjoyed their lunch buffets. So sad to hear that they've closed.

Well, it was my favorite. Went there for a couple of decades. Sadly it is gone but my fond memories remain.

Best pad Thai I have ever had in this country. I have been looking for an equally good Thai restaurant since I moved out of RI in 2013. But I have not found one. I miss this restaurant from time to time! Could you open one in LA please!!

They have hands down the best pad Thai (compared to bee's, Heng, sawadee - the three Thai places in town). My friends and I, even after leaving town have always talked about how good their food was.

Good Thai food, easy in and out lunch, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Buffet day gets busy so if you order from the menu, service will be slower... Get the buffet if you are in a hurry.

Staff was not very welcoming; the food was overpriced and not tasty, but it was authentic.

False, or at least grossly outdated, advertising. I went to this restaurant fully because I was intending on eating sushi for lunch. I had previously picked up a takeout menu the week before, and was delighted to see a full selection of different kinds of sushi available. Yet, when I came inside and sat down, the table menu didn't have any sushi section. I asked the waiter, and he shook his head and said "No, no sushi." Already very puzzled and frustrated by this, I decided to have something else from the menu instead. On the first page, there was a photograph of a beef noodle soup, headlined, in big letters, with the word "NEW!" I asked to have that...and the waiter shook his head and said, "No, no soup today." Giving it my last chance, I ordered spring rolls and chicken coconut soup. I had no protest, and my lunch did finally come, but not after a substantial wait, which didn't make sense, because there weren't many people in the establishment. Needless to say, I won't be coming back here. And if you're looking for sushi (or, for that matter, beef noodle soup), you shouldn't bother, either.

Amazing food and friendly service!! Highly recommended!
Fantastic little spot. Food was great! Definitely going again

Great Thai food in a very walkable area. They don't serve alcohol, but it is BYOD with a liquor store across the street. The service is very kind and the food comes out quickly!

Extremely disappointing! We live near Pakarang in Providence, and this is our second bad experience. We ordered a red curry and jungle curry that came with minimal curry sauce on the dish. Our curry is dry and has little flavor. Pakarang offers low quality cuisine for the cost! Highly mediocre!

Family has been there twice now. Each time the service was super friendly, kitchen was fast, and food was great. Pakarang will be a regular stop when we visit Providence.

Good quality food with even better service. I was honestly impressed at the authenticity of the food and the good flavors they had. The server was excellent, very knowledgeable of what went into each dish and the different allergens, and was super accommodating to the group's very diverse list of restrictions. Will definitely be coming back!
Lovely phad thai
