This was a place my family once loved. We’ve been twice in the last month and both experiences have been a let-down. The first time they were out of everything other than brownies, that includes all drinks that were out of stock. Tonight, I was waiting in a long line and the person in front of me ordered a drink. Then it’s my turn to order, and I order two drinks. They then proceed to tell me that they’re not doing drinks. It was two HOURS before they closed. We’ll see if we ever visit again. Waste of my time.
My God this is heavenly!!!

My all time favorite place for fruit tart, the best. I used to hate fruit tart, never a go to dessert for me until my roommate bought me one from Pastiche. Well, I tried many around the world but here is still the best for me after 20+ year.

This place is incredibly charming and truly feels like home.
The pastries are absolutely outstanding. My husband and I came here for the first time, and when we tried the berry tart, our hearts just melted. It was the most perfect harmony of flavors and textures.
I highly recommend visiting and treating yourself - you won’t regret it.

If I could rate this place a zero, I would. We walked in and the workers did not even look at us the entire time. We were trying to decide on what to get, as everyone was raving about this place. We chose the tiramisu. They gave us half of what was displayed for basically $10 after tax per slice. The workers did not even acknowledge us this whole time. All that and the tiramisu was not that great. Big disappointment with rude staff.

My go to dessert place for years in Pvd. First you got rid of in person dinning. No more after dinner dessert and coffee with friends. But this is the worst, why why why, did you change your cannoli?! 😡 it was perfect before. Please change it back.
(Response to owner) Yes, it was tiny it was loud, and you had to wait for a table forever, but it had charm and nostalgia. The new filling is completely different, I preferred the older version. I see you’re a business owner who cares about their business and you at least saw my comment and responded quickly. So I will change my review because the rest of your desserts and service are very good.

Wish I could order one of everything
Pastiche was my favorite dessert place 30 years ago when I went to college in PVD. I longed for their Chocolate torte with raspberry sauce and their banana cream pie when I moved away. Well, now my kid goes to school in Providence and lo and behold, Pastiche is still there and their desserts are just as good.
There’s no place like Pastiche in Boston, or Atlanta, or NJ, or any of the places I’ve lived. You shouldn’t miss it.

We’ve been getting our cakes from Pastiche for years and we swear by it. They only get better and better with time and stay true to their commitment to quality. It elevates any event to have these scrumptious cakes. They’re a core memory for us all.
