the MEATBALL!!
Even after making reservations appropriate table not available. The hostess was very rude and subsequently the manager also came in being very rude and coming into my face. While talking to the manager the hostess is eye rolling and making faces. The waiter who we talked to was also rolling faces when talked to as regards the table. The entire episode felt like we were not wanted there. We felt racially discriminated against as well as we are brown. Just spoilt the evening!

Red Stripe is a popular spot in Providence, known for its delicious brunch and dinner menu. The truffle burger is a must-try, bursting with flavor and accompanied by the best truffle fries. The friendly and welcoming staff provide quick service even during busy times. The generous portion sizes at a reasonable price make it a favorite among locals and students. The restaurant offers a kid-friendly menu section and discounts for Brown University affiliates. Customers enjoy special deals on Monday and Tuesday evenings, where they can share an appetizer and dessert while choosing their own entrees for $60, making for a perfect dining experience with excellent food and drinks. The large bar with original drinks and easy parking continue to make Red Stripe a go-to dining option in the area, despite some noise when it gets busier. Visitors often leave satisfied and happy, especially with the variety of dishes available. While some reviews mention loud noise levels, others highlight the friendly service and great atmosphere. The restaurant has maintained its quality over the years, with many returning after long periods, eager to enjoy the excellent food, ambiance, and service that have made it a consistent favorite. However, recent visits have seen some decline in food quality, such as a filet that was a scrap piece and steak frites served on a pile of raw onions with soggy fries. Nonetheless, dishes like mussels and cake remain excellent, and some customers find the crab encrusted cod particularly enjoyable. The dining room is beautiful, and the staff go out of their way to be welcoming and accommodating, making it a preferred spot for locals who appreciate the good food, service, and atmosphere.
