We stopped by the bakery right before closing—didn’t realize the time, but we were hoping to grab a quick treat. The girl working was outside putting chairs away and completely ignored us standing inside. The BEST Portuguese Bakery around! Family owned for decades. The paposecos are always fresh, da queijadas always have the perfect crunch, and of course ou queijo de São Jorge is always a hit! The owners and staff are absolutely AMAZING! Always a 10/10 ⭐️
While in Fox Point Providence, we stopped into Silver Star Bakery. We got some Portuguese sweetbread, RI pizza straps, & a popseco com quiejo st jorge. The breads were super fluffy, & the pizza strips were tasty.
