Just don't come here. I had the lunch special chicken tiki masala and the portion size is an absolute joke. I literally had about 3 chicken cubes in my plate lol. For $13.95 that's an absolute joke.

Went for their Saturday lunch buffet. Although the quantity of dishes to offer was a little narrow, the quality and taste of all dishes were right on the money. Their spinach curry and tandoori chicken were both excellent, the butter chicken as well. Cute place, friendly staff, delicious Indian cuisine, recommended.

Food and service were excellent! This was our first time trying Indian food, and our experience couldn’t have been better. The waiter kindly took the time to explain the menu and, based on our preferences, offered thoughtful recommendations. We truly enjoyed everything and look forward to coming back!

We thoroughly enjoyed A Taste of India, an intimate storefront restaurant located a few minutes from downtown Providence. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food delicious and authentic, and the dining area filled with tables that are perfect for groups of 2 - 4 (but can be combined for larger groups).
We found the garlic naan to be hot, fresh, and delicious. And the two entrees that we ordered and shared (lamb and eggplant) to be flavorfully spiced and consistent with the level of heat that we requested.
The large windows allow plenty of light and views of the neighborhood, making you feel as though you are a part of the vibrant scene and life of the neighborhood.
We look forward to visiting again the next time we are in town.

Ordered take out for 2, incredible food but wish you got a little more for the price. We got 2 vegetarian entrees, vegetable samosas, and paneer naan for around $50 before tip. Very good food and service was nice during pickup.

The food was absolutely delicious, authentic (i.e. cardamon pods and fennel seeds in the basmati) , and actually spicy! The people working there are also so warm and kind. My fiancé and I loved our experience and will definitely be returning regularly. Definitely the best Indian food on the east side of PVD!
