What a great Indian Resturant! We went super hungry they were about to close not only they accommodated us by gave us fresh warm food with very welcoming atmosphere. I was impressed with flavors and preparations. Simple aloo parantha was so special. What a great experience! Highly recommend it…

Fantastic, reliable flavors in a cozy family restaurant. The service is so warm you feel right at home. Standout favorites are the lamb biryani and saag paneer. I make paneer at home and I'd still go there to eat theirs.

This was my first time experiencing Indian cuisine. I honestly was not sure if I would enjoy it, but I did. I had the butter chicken with the plain nan and a mango lassi to drink.

The food is fine. The selection of beers is large, but not really interesting. The service is fast and excellent. There is parking in a reasonable location on the street. Close to other useful places - Trader Joe's, cafes, bridge, park and more.

Lunch buffet was great!! I’m so glad there’s an Indian buffet in Rhode Island now. It’s a small, curated selection of all the essentials. Everything was so tasty and authentic and delicious. Couldn’t be happier and I can’t wait to come back!

My favorite Indian spot in RI. The owners and staff are friendly and accommodating and the cuisine is fabulous. I have been a regularly patron at this restaurant for 14 years and it still surprises me. Care goes into taste instead of presentation - which is simple and adequate. Try the mint chutney served with the Papadum. Order a Samosa for appetizer, followed by Aloo Gobi, or Aloo Palak for your entree. Perfect!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are many, and you can inform your server to remove cream and butter from vegetarian items to make them vegan.

Parking: The venue does not have a parking lot, but there is street parking, and there is always something available.

Recommended dishes: Vegetable Samosa, Papadum, Vindaloo, Palak Paneer, Palak, Nan, Tikka Masala

during Ramadan, our group of fasting people really wanted to cater Taste of India for a rescheduled Tuesday night banquet but they’re closed on Tuesdays. i contacted the restaurant and explained we would be catering for about 30-35 people and was wondering if he would be able to accommodate us. he was willing and brought generous portioned trays and delivered them right on time. i think that shows this business goes the extra mile. the food of course was so delicious, flavorful, and steaming hot for a delivery! and we had so many leftovers that everyone took home and shared with friends.
