Trash food and long wait to get cold microwaved food. Go somewhere else. Why is nothing hot but we had to wait? The Saturday night of the biggest convention in this area and only three tables worth of people in the entire restaurant. Bad service=No Customers. McDonald's is probably better and thats saying a lot. If you like to wait long for terrible food maybe this is the spot you've been looking for. I can't imagine this place staying open without the hotel keeping it afloat.

My only knock on this place is looks like they are worried about overhead cost as there isn't enough staff. There was only one bartender and one cook who at times had to make the long to bring out the food. No complaints on the bartender or the buger and fries as they were great. It's a college town quit being cheap and hire people so your restaurant can be full.

After a long day exploring Providence, we stopped by The Vig for a nightcap. Our bartender, Frank, was fantastic—friendly, personable, and gave us a great recommendation for the next day: Federal Hill.

We made a reservation through Open Table way in advance for 9 people. Showed up and they did not have us on books. Said we must have booked with Vig in Loop. Turns out that VIG in Loop only books on Resy and they did not have our reservation. Obviously made for VIG on Wells. Didn't matter. Hostess would not accommodate and did not apologize. Very disappointing.

I will never go back. Terrible. The food was cold and overcooked and dry. Also overpriced. Poor quality food. Very slow service. Took a very long time to pay. Had to ask for bill twice. Worst chicken parm I've had in a long time. When we finally paid we also were handed another guests signed bill ! Had tickets for a show and needed to eat or would have refused the food. Stay away!

We wanted something quick and easy, so we both had the Smash Burger with fries. The burger was very good, with gooey melted cheese, lettuce and tomato. The fries were excellent. They were very hot, and had a spice blend of some kind. They have a decent beer and wine selection, and the specialty cocktails looked good.

The service was absolutely horrible. We were sitting at the bar and the bartender basically ignored us. we had to ask for menus, we had to ask if we could order a drink. The bartenders were just not observant and not friendly. they seemed overwhelmed and there were only about 6-7 people at the bar. The food was terrible. The pizza was barely cooked. Terrible. It is expensive to eat out now a days do not waste your hard earned money at The VIG. You can get a better meal at McDonalds.

Ridiculously slow service, our order was wrong, they forgot one of the kids chicken tenders and had to wait at least 45 minutes before her food came. The rest of the food was gross.

Party of 17 for dinner yesterday. The food was great and the waiter was even better. Thank you!
We had reservations before a show. Was seated but sat and waited for someone to come to the table for quite some time. Our waiter was clearly overwhelmed and they did not have enough staff. He tried his best. Our food was disgusting! The bacon on my sandwich was raw and cold, the turkey was slimy and the wrap was stale. It was apparent it was made earlier and sitting in a fridge. Waiter never asked us how everything was. Would never come here again and would never recommend it to anyone.

Got there for our reservation on time and was told by some other couple waiting at 5:45 that they were still waiting for their 5pm reservation. No staff to be found for 10 mins so we left.

Better staffing needed for big events held in Providence. This past Saturday truly turned us off of the restaurant and I would not recommend for anything other than maybe a casual bite on a non-busy night.
