Somehow I didn’t find it hard to not intentionally touch the light switch and then lie about it while people were watching me unlike the pickle person. 🤷🏼♀️
Anyway the staff is friendly and the drinks are good.

Whoa it was packed in here! The straight to hell was our favorite 🔥 Service was quick and great considering how busy it was. There were some girls near the door that kept turning the lights on and giggling.. not sure what that was about. On their way out we watched them smack the switches and sarcastically yell that it was an accident. They kept giggling but other than that our experience was awesome!

Have loved coming here in the past but this time was very different and super off-putting. I’m not sure if the bartender(s) were having a bad night...I try to play devil’s advocate since I’m also in customer service and consider myself an empathetic person…but I also know that you don’t treat paying customers the way he did.
We got genuinely yelled at when my friend accidentally bumped into the light, turning it on, when standing next to the door since there was no where to sit. He dropped an “f” bomb and said it was the second time it had happened and to cut it out. I guess the group we were talking to had also accidentally hit it earlier.
Before leaving, when my friend accidentally hit it (bad timing but a total accident) the female bartender said we were no longer welcome there. My friends and I apologized, trying to explain that it was not a retaliatory action which they claimed it was but it was clear that they did not believe us. No more Walnut room for me, my friends, or my family unfortunately.
I’ve worked in a place where customers have also bumped into the light switch when standing by the door and while it can be annoying, it never justifies yelling at and accusing your customers.

Seth is an amazing bartender and the vibe is so cool here I enjoyed the music, conversation with locals and bartender (Seth) who makes you feel very welcome from the minute you walk in the door. I highly recommend this place when you are visiting or local in Providence 😊
